Are Slots Streamers a Threat to the UK iGaming Industry?

Of course they are, said this for years and a lot of the draconian measures are direct affect due to those parasites.

ive actually spoke to a few of the more ‘reputable’ streamers over the years and they agreed that the likes of chipmonkz and his odious and openly breaching of cap codes, advertising rules etc is having a negative affect on everyone.

it’s not just him don’t get me wrong, but for the U.K. he’s like our version of roshtein now with his rogue behaviour and frankly shit acting and lies upon lies upon deceit upon lies.

i also had dialogue directly with the ukgc until about June this year, they told me streaming is something they are looking at for a fact, something that will have consequences.

sadly it’s the real slot player whom will suffer due to measures imposed.

its also a shame for the decent guys like @interlog @dunover as they are far different to the likes of the low life mentioned above.

it’s only going to get worse too, Mark my words.

ben wick, kills streamers with pencils...
Fucking pencils.

In a nutshell, yes they are.

Rewind the clock back some years ago. The slot section on Twitch was, well just normal I would say. A few streamers that played slots at no more than £2 a spin, posting their affiliate links and earning a little money to fund this rather expensive hobby. I recall those days that when I streamed in the morning, I was the only one streaming in that section.

And then the greed started to kick in. It started off with CasinoRobot (long gone now) playing with casino money.

Then the Bandit came on the scene giving away money in order to attract sign ups. Others had to follow suit. That was the beginning of the end in my opinion.

Casinos then cottoned on and got in on the act. Rosthein appeared on the scene doing stupid bet size spins sponsored by unrealistic deposit match bonuses that without a shadow of a doubt have withdrawal restrictions attached to it. I know the casino rep here denied it. I am sorry, but no casino is able to financially sustain unlimited withdrawals with a ev+ deposit match system, simple as.

And so it carried on. If you didn't do bets with a minimum of £5 stake you were not going to attract viewers, so it became the norm. £5,000 session deposits are now the norm.... unsustainable for your ordinary punter.

But now the tide is slowly turning. Streaming platforms are becoming stricter and casinos are become wiser to it too. Only the other day when I was watching a German streamer, he told his audience that he no longer streams for a certain casino because they demanded 30,000 euro of deposit match money back because he was making too much money and these deposit match bonuses were only meant to be to extend stream time. He refused, so they closed his affiliate account. Not a dodgy casino either, it was a Maltese licensed casino.

There are still a handful of genuine slot streamers out there, but unfortunately the majority of them are now those that joined or are joining the bandwagon thinking it is a road to quick money. They are not gamblers, they are sales men, some of them piss poor sales men.

Wonderful ammo for the anti gambling mob who might actually think what they are watching is real
and presume ordinary folks are gambling at that level.
If it were possible all streaming should be banned, a bit hard on those who try to do it responsibly but
it would be nearly impossible to produce a code of conduct that all streamers would abide by

Theres already a lot of talk about UK streamers moving abroad, because they cant buy features.

If the UKGC limit bet sizes, it will be a mass exodus.
It would be majestic...

Imagine being so shit at life without gambling you can’t get a well paid job..

hope it all ends, it’s behind immoral.

I think you missed my point.

The streamers can afford to live where ever they want to continue the flow of affiliate income.

As for not being able to get a well paid job LOL.

They already have one which would pay more than most CEO,s would take home.

All funded by just making a couple of videos per day.

Without affiliation they couldn’t...
Utter pondlife, another who’s never had a real job nor paid tax..

all funded by the loses of others

But these same people then have to think that Batman and Superman are real and really do all these things like shown in movies. I just think that it's also quite underestimating people ability to use own brains, at least i would like to hope that most of people on this planet are not blind monkey see, monkey do type and always just do without any questions things they see in internet, majority of people are not idiots.

Of course there is huge correlation in gambling addiction and stream followers (and streamers), but which came first, how many who are not at all passioned about slots or gambling in general actually end up to watch slot streamers when you have an endless selection of different things to watch on the internet? What's the trigger that you got through everything else you see there but once you see somebody playing slots with huge bets, you think you can do it and start to make £100 spins right away? Not watching streamers at all as can't really find point what's interesting in watching slot playing, if wanna chat and be part of community, there would be many other topics than gambling, or if that gambling really is somethng you already are stuck, then it it's probably natural. Just mean that i don't have to spend many minutes in internet to find much much more sick things than some clown playing slots with unreal betsize, we would be happy place if these lovely people are worse thing in internet causing problems.

I remember CasinoTwitcher back in 2015. Very experienced player and knowledgeable. Basically never played over 1€. Kim started shortly after. That was the good times.

Then came David Retardsky saying he was "one of you guys" like so many said since! Starts playing 0,6 bets ending up with 5-50€ spins! Lots of young men living in their 1 room appartment certainly able to play -EV high stakes slots all the time! Not sometimes, all the time!!

It`s magic

He’s had more than half a million balance for over a week at a curacao casino, think someone has a withdrawal limit or they would of took half a million out by now? If they pay at all
half a million ? i just had a look at that man never could or can stand his streams this is his balance now hmmmmm

But the money will soon enough dry up and what then? Left with habitual gambling issue and need to bet astronomical?

Even 1 mil at those bet levels won't last long.

He’s a fan boy to a particular dude.

without other people’s losses this lot of bums wouldn’t have a pot to piss in...

not to mention the harm they do to problem or potential problem gamblers.

utter scum

Several months on from the UKGC updated code of conduct I note CasinoGrounds are STILL not age gating videos on YouTube, an example from this week :-

Clips of UK based streamer NickSlots, with full affiliation links in plain view along with the OMG GUYS!!! THIS IS IT! £10 stake mega wins...

Considering LeoVegas own a 51% share not a great idea for their brand to be trying to act as if the new rules don't apply to them!

The one, bottom and 2nd from the left looks like the Radio DJ Stephen Nolan. Uncanny.

Rather than the gasp like expression, gaping mouths, hands to face etc, that pic really fails to capture the real expression of players which is simply a shrug of the shoulders and a 'shit, i got out of jail with that win, now i'm even, phhewwwww'

They're not UK based so I am guessing they don't have to follow UKGC rules

No they are not, but last time I looked LeoVegas had a UKGC licence and readily accepts UK players. They have a controlling interest in Casino Grounds and are in turn indirectly fuelling the position of those that want online gambling neutered here in the UK.

I think it gets a little more tricky when both CG and LeoVegas are not in the UK. Yes, LeoVegas has a UK license and had CG been a UK affiliate then perhaps they can make a point. Not so sure when they're not UK though........

Well, seeing as the UKGC are not bothering going after UK based affiliates that target problem gamblers, sites that provide lists of offshore casinos that they can play at that do not use GamStop. Then the UKGC are not exactly doing their job effectively IMO.

They do, they are targeting UK players so have to follow UK rules, the ss's below clearly show a streamer using UK£'s, targeted at UK customers, and CG's own website is geo targeted to show offers in UK£'s

Yep and that particular streamer has age gated his own Youtube channel but his clips are featured on another website (admittedly one that he co-owns).

Should I be penalized when one of my clips on my age gated Youtube channel gets featured elsewhere which has happened before?

The video I took that from is not age gated. Thats his problem, presumably he gave permission for the clip to be used, or will have filed a DCMA request with youtube to get it taken down, if not, then he is promoting himself without the appropriate age gating.

Do you have links to casinos or your website where you promote the casinos on screen in your video or linked below the clips video? If not then you will be fine. You can of course do a DCMA request to youtube and get the video removed if you think it puts you at risk of breaching the rules, or if the person using the clip is promoting UK casinos, complain to the affiliate programs directly.

As you say, he part owns CG so that pretty much removes any defence he might have had. There are links to CG's in the description, which then targets UK players, which he benefits from. He clearly knows the rules by the way his own channel is set up, so attempting to bypass the regulations by CGs is clearly not right.

@homerbert is unable to access the site due to the bad stuff happen8ng in his country. His account is dormant at moment.
Yeah but he’s told us all this guy is real and it’s real money.

I’m sorry whatever is going on in his country, but to promote a obvious parasite like this is pretty shady, well infact it’s a disgrace.

@Casinomeister is anyone stepping in for the absence of @homerbert ?

My hero has done it..... 1 million balance! You couldn't make this shite up... you really can't

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
Mark mate! You missed out here, you could of done a live members only CM stream!..

That same upstanding casino called Vegaz - instant withdrawals, no verification of course, it's in his bank account already.

What a tool. I'm doubting he even gets 10% as some claim these days the amount he cashes out.
No shit. I find this abhorrent and beyond unethical as a rep here stated this was real.

Only a dodo would find this real.

but on a serious note.

responsible gambling? This forum reaches out the world over, we have a casinomeister accredited casino, and a active rep telling the world that this utter BS is real...

some accountability here is needed as this is a lot more shocking and damaging than wrong think on a politics sub thread...

priorities much

Which leads on to another point...does anyone actually still believe that the games being played are the original, authentic, standard RTP games that the rest of us play?!
The whole idea is just sick mate.

this streaming fad is so morally wrong im bewildered others can’t see it,

yes it’s easy to justify when it’s your sole income,
but the likes of chip, nick, fruity, that idiot whom sounds like a seseme street character (David..l)

and the rest cannot promote any responsibility regarding gambling the way they do, the fake offers they get the max cashout allowed etc..

the bandit (Steve) is just the same

regards your RTP question, online casinos and the business is more dirty than a hookers panties mate, always has been...

so it’s possible.

When I joined here last jan I used to read your posts @Playford7 as if you were stirring trouble but everything you have said is turning out to be true. These crooks are not only killing the fun for us normal players but they are now running the risk of getting online gambling stopped for good.

Respect sir, and apologies for doubting you in the early days. Now back to my vodka red bull and bonanza D chase.
