The post that started this thread was moved out of the Community thread for being off-topic, as was stated in the message you would have received when the post was moved.

How your "numbers" post ended up here is unknown. If you'd like that moved somewhere else feel free to provide the desired destination.

Of course I see off topic posts removed from threads all of the time and made into an original thread. My post of a full stop is very derailing and for that I wholeheartedly apologies to the community.

Care to explain as i dont see any point of this thread?

As stated above "The post that started this thread was moved out of the Community thread for being off-topic". When we remove a derail from the original thread we have two choices: delete it or split it off into its own thread. Outright deletions are not the way we prefer to do things so that leaves the separate thread option. And here we are.

As always if the thread is of no interest to you you're free to not read it.

why not delete it?
dont see the point or what "someone" is trying to achieve with it?
seems to me like someone is targeting someone...

"Targeting"? How "targeting"? Moving OT posts is standard procedure here, always has been. It's even written into the Forum Rules (see item 1.15). Perhaps it's been a little more necessary these days than at other times in the past but there you go, difficult days for us all.

As explained, we don't like to delete. That's too often and too easily seen as censorship which is not a place we want to go.

BTW if you've got something to say, spit it out. The innuendo and oblique references aren't adding much to the conversation.

Best not to be too sanctimonious about that. Your original post wasn't exactly a "full stop" now was it?
Good of you to have removed it though and redirected it to a PM. Whatever else gets said here that was a decent and responsible thing to have done.

Hi Helen,

As Max mentioned, we don't delete posts in this forum. Unless it's spam, or company secrets, or something personally damaging - it's just not done here. Max was merely doing admin work moving the post to here. If you delve into the attic, there is a history of moved threads that were derailing threads and had no other place to go. There is no targeting - there is only an attempt to maintain orderliness.

When I posted the original message you had me on monitored posting rights which meant that nobody but you could see what I posted. I very quickly edited it and sent it via PM instead. So it is very disingenuous of you to suggest that you removed the full stop post because it was derailing and that posters could read it.
You could have simply ignored the full stop.

This thread very much gives the impression that you created it in order to goad me into a public argument.

Entitling the thread "Back from a Ban" also indicates your intention.

But lets not get too sanctimonious

One more point. If you did not create this thread to instigate a public argument Max then why did you not lock the thread for replies?

Look you either want to be part of this community or you don't.

You have returned from your ban and seem to have gone straight into a repeat of the trollish, flaming behaviour that got you banned in the first place,

You are not party to what I posted and deleted so where do you get me trolling and flaming from?

You never miss an opportunity for a argument so it is a bit rich of you to call me out with zero evidence of me trolling today

Were not talking about me.

You have returned from a ban, seemingly with guns drawn ready for a fight with the mods.

Most sensible people would come back and keep their heads down for a bit.

There's one bit of business left to deal with here:

...

What can I say? Your persecution fantasies are well beyond anything I have the time or inclination for.
As I've said to you time and again elsewhere: respect the Rules -- which includes NOT dissing the mods, NOT pissing on the site, and NOT abusing the crap out of your fellow forum members -- and I'll have exceedingly little interest in what you do or say or think or feel or can dream up in your sleep.
