In recent years Bet365 has become increasingly aloof when it comes to player complaints. We get that they are huge now and don’t need everyone’s TLC to hit their financial targets and that’s lovely for them. Unfortunately when you become increasingly distant from your players, especially when they need your help, it’s not cool to just say “talk to the hand” and point them to Customer Service.
That’s exactly what Bet365 has devolved to in recent years. Specifically in our case they pulled their rep from the forums some time ago, and have this past year or so stopped responding to us at all. We’ve gone through two or three contacts at the casino and get lovely responses like “why are you bothering me?” and “go to Support” as if players hadn’t already been there and in frustration sought outside assistance.
For your average casino you could shrug and say “their choice” which is absolutely true. But for an Accredited casino — which Bet365 were until today — that is absolutely not acceptable. Accreditation is a partnership between us and the casino: we rate them highly (if they deserve it) and they make themselves available if players need help. If that simple relationship is too much for them to maintain then Accreditation is obviously not for them. And here we are:
Bet365 is by all reports a place many players enjoy and that’s lovely. Unfortunately their rate of complaints is noticeably above average and they are happy to leave the phone off the hook when it comes to addressing those issues. That is conduct unbecoming for a top-tier casino and they have thus been removed from the Accredited list.
