i cant speak for uk, but ive used literally thousands of prepaid mastercards online; accepted everywhere

I have a Skrill mastercard that is classed as a pre paid one, and there are a LOT of places that don't accept them, a lot of the time the card number doesn't pass the initial verification check, and despite what VS says above they didn't accept it either. Also can't use it to pay certain bills either!

to be fair, VS said above they accept the card in question - prepaid mastercard - not that they accepted skrill prepaids cards

I have a feeling its something to do with them being issued here. I got one from Sky a couple of years ago which was exactly like the one the OP was talking about and couldn't use it most casinos either. Cant use a lot of them in petrol stations either

I'm not sure if it's a skrill thing or uk thing tbh
up until only last month or 2, ive only ever used prepaid mastercards online (VS, rizk, GUTS, etc...well, everywhere; I think I've only ever come across maybe 2 casinos in 10 years that didnt take them)

Nope I could of picked a physical card but have to Pay £5 fee so picked virtual

It is quite possibly classed as cash, check the cards T&C's see if theres a cash withdrawal fee, it might work if you take the amount of the fee off, so if it is £3 then try a £17 deposit

never worked it also says transaction not permitted what ever that means

It depends who issued the MasterCard and from which country it is.

Who is the company behind your prepaid card? Is it maybe a US company?

My MasterCards that I had at some point were issued by Asian banks and they never worked at casinos, not a single one of them.

I've used Revolut Visa and have managed to deposit and receive withdrawals too.

I know for a fact that MasterCard will not receive payments into a pre paid, but as for depositing, many Canadians have been doing that for years.

You can use virtual cards, it is better to keep hold of the card if you use it for gambling (DONT TROW IT AWAY!) to avoid withdrawal issues.

However majority of the virtual cards can be confirmed by their BIN number and if we can find that information, we ignore the requirement to provide a copy of the front and back.

I do believe we have blocked one provider of these cards as there was fraudulent behaviour, can't remember the provider though.

But if you use them and you do that at a for you "new" casino. Just keep hold of the card or the receipt with all the card information as you don't want verification issues now or in the future.

Some cards do not allow any gambling transactions.

If it is only 20 pounds, just go buy some groceries with it.

prepaids have always worked for me at VS (mastercard, not visa) whereas olg takes visa debit

I am sure most card should work as it works as a normal credit / debit card with card number, expiry date and CVV attached.
