Does the RTP on slots vary base on our gameplay

Now I know that slots are random BUT recently I have been playing quite a bit and I was reasonably lucky at the lowish stakes..$0.80-$1 per spin.

I cranked it up to $5 a spin and it instantly went cold. So cold in fact I had to check the gameplay to see how bad it was. 182 spins at $5 a hit without a single win.. not even ten cents.

I understand the slots are random but my question is, does the RTP decrease at all based on how much we gamble or if we increase it etc? Slot providers and casino's will say no but I'm a bit cynical about this.

In short, i'd say no, but I can see why you'd say that based on my personal experiences too.

nope. the betsize does not change the rtp. If the game has a 96% rtp, it stay on 10 cent and 100€ bet. You just run unlucky
