Roguish Dont deposit at Royal Prive Casino - 9 months no pay 1.5k !!

HI there online casino community !

In November 2012 i deposited 150 $ at Royal Prive Casino received i think a 300 % bonus and ran that amount up to 2000 $ playing various games( mostly slots and Video poker ). i requested a withdrawal for ~400 $ at some point after meeting the wagering requirements and then the bonus (sticky) was deducted and i received ~ 125 $ to my neteller account.

After that i kept playing at the casino and one day i wanted to make another withdrawal - to my surprise there were new wagering requitements for a bonus in my account , i contacted support and they said a 20 or 50 $ no deposit bonus had been issued to my account ( my balance was around 1.3k at that moment..!) , i said that i didnt ask for any bonus and asked for them to remove the bonus , support said thats not possible now cause i allready started wagering towards the bonus and also said that im allready half way through and that i will clear it easy.

I thought okay and kept playing and lost around 200 $ while clearing the bonus i did not ask for in first place ...

After that i requested another withdrawal for ~600 $ and then i waited for around one month (it was december 2012 now...) nothing , after emailing them i got reply from a guy named Walter that they didnt process my withdrawal cause my money derives from a no deposit bonus and that he has to find out how much my winnings where ...

I replied that i never wanted any bonus and that i actually lost money over during the clearing of that bonus , after that i got another resposne that he will look into that and get back to me...

It was late december allready and i still had around 1.5k including the pending withdrawals in my account.

I did not hear anything from Walter and i started sending him and the other avail. email adresses email asking when my withdrawals will be processed and if i got an answer it was something like please contact "Walter" but most of the time i got no answer at all...

My account got locked one day (i think it was ~ February 2013) and later unlocked again ( no idea why) ..


I called support several times , they gave me an email adress from Angela , i fired an email to her from two different email adresses of mine , one email got responded with something like , i will look inot that but my future emails after no response came got ignored by "her" aswell...

When i called support via phone they always told me they cant do anything and that i should email to blablabla.
Same thing when i contacted support via chat ...

I kept writing them emails once or twice a week untill end of june 2013 but received no response at anytime ...

Now its 26. July and i just tried to open the Royal Prive Casino Software just to see that my account is LOCKED again - again no reason , no email communication , nothing ...


By today Royal Prive still owes me ~1.5 k $ wich is the balance in my account combined with a withdrawal thats pending for ~ 9 months now...


I know its my own fault not checking all sources (like cm) before playing at an online casino but still i felt like its good im sharing my story with you today...

OK i apologize , but i think its just super annoying that some folks here just seem to love to tell others "i told you so" or "you shold have known this" or anything like that - it doesnt help anyone its just annoying , i mean i know what i do and what i did and i have to pay for my mistakes but imo its important to share experiences/give updates from "bad" casinos just to see if anything changed in the meantime or also to see how they are shady/whats their practices to rip people off ...

What you should learn from this is that you can't actually call people stupid. You have to beat around the bush about it by saying things like "Some people don't use their brains." As long as you don't use the word stupid it's perfectly acceptable. There's nothing wrong with insulting people. You just have to be diplomatic about it.

I agree that "stupid clown" was not acceptable but that was before the warning. After that "stupid clown" was downgraded to "smart ass."

And it's not like the alleged smart ass is known for trying not to hurt anyone's feelings.

Personally, I would prefer it if everyone got along but in my opinion if you're going to jump into a thread with both fists you should accept that you might get popped back once in a while.

Forums are just like real life in many ways. Posting something in a forum is tantamount to sending a mass email to thousands of people you mostly don't know, or putting up a big sign in the high street. Sometimes we forget this, and I include myself in that too.

When you post about something that happened to you, or about something you did, you will always get varying kinds of responses. Some will agree, some will not, some will not agree but empathize, some ill think you're silly, etc etc.

My point is that IF you are going to post something like I described above, and in this case it was basically "I played at a known rogue and got shafted", then it is going to produce the full gamut of opinions...especially so since rogue casinos are an emotional topic for most players, particularly those who have been around a while.

Interestingly, the two members who actually addressed the OP (chu and I) pretty much said the same thing i.e. that we couldn't believe that someone with who has been around so long would play at such a dodgy casino. The difference was in the expression, and that I went a little further....and some did not like what I said, especially the OP.

When someone posts something you don't like, you have choices:

1. Ignore it.
2. Respond with counter argument/s
3. Respond with personal insults
4. Report it

In my experience, only 3. will ever get you into trouble.

Some people had an issue with what I said...the only part I can see where some problem might arise with some is the "some people don't listen or use their brains". I don't see a personal insult there.....I sometimes don't use my brains, as I'm sure others don't either...it doesn't mean I am calling the person "stupid" or making a sweeping personal assessment of them. I simply gave my OPINION about what the OP posted in the PUBLIC forum about the DECISION they made. I didn't know the OP at all beforehand....although I have a better picture now.

It seems some members think that I go around throwing personal insults at people trying to make them feel bad for kicks. What I actually do is give my personal opinion about the situation, without the fluff and bubbles. I try very hard to avoid juvenile name calling, and my posting history will show that to be accurate. In person, I actually go out of my way to avoid hurting ANYONE for ANY reason....even though I do give my honest opinion to everyone who asks. The way I type doesn't always carry across my emotions, because I try to keep to the issues at hand and not make every post 28 paragraphs.

Bottom line....post within the rules and there is no problem. I've received suspensions etc over the years, and they were deserved at the time. If members think that how I post is unacceptable, then ask Bryan to change the rules etc. Also, on the topic of hurting people, if I posted here some of the things that have been said to me via PM over the years...for no good reason 99.9% of the time other than I didn't agree with that person's POV....you would be quite amazed. I've learned to brush it off nowadays, but I am very sure that many of you would be extremely unnerved if these things has been said to you e.g. doing things to my children, wife etc, tracking me down and burning my house..and some from my fellow countrymen. I know some of you won't give a toss...which is fine...but I just don't want reasonable people to think that I am without feeling and try to upset people for a hobby. After my post here i surprisingly got an email from royalprivecasino that they want to pay me on sunday...

On sunday i got a call from them and Walter told me that i won the 2000 $ from a 100 $ deposit (i deposited 125 $ in total i believe) and that the max cashout would be 1000 $ but since i received 400 $ bonus the max i could cash out is 600 $ (its been a way to long time to remember how things were but i strongly do believe that there was no max cashout when i deposited and i do believe i received 300 $ in bonus wich would give me at least 700 $ , alltough in general if i read in the T&C max cashout is 10 times the deposit i would expect that if i have a balance of 1000 + bonus i would receive the full the 1000 $...)

Long story short , he explained that since they allready sent 125 $ in December they still would "owe" me 475 $ for a total of 600 $ in winnings.

When i told him that i won 2000 $ in total and that i won around 800 $ AFTER they sent the first 125 $ he said that this doesnt matter since the winnings all derived from my initial 100 $ deposit...

I accepted the 475 $ since i didnt expect to get anything ..

He also asked me to update here in the forum wich i do by writing this post.

In other words, they are paying you a portion of what you really won ONLY because they want you to provide positive PR at CM to help convince everyone that they are nice guys.

Hard lesson learned casinokoenig. This is why casinomeister is so important; And this is a trap most veteran shouldn't even fall for. Those types of bonuses from rogues are traps, plain and simple. I am disappointed to see this thread coming from a veteran at casinomeister. You guys have to set a better example for newbies. Royal Prive thrives on the uninformed, but when they can get the informed to take the bait. Its just a sweeter plus for them (Royal Prive).

I'm not exactly sure I'd consider Casinokoenig a veteran of this website. He's had an account for a long time but he's only made 40 posts. Some members here make that in a week.... A weekend if they've been drinking.

It's been so long since you made that deposit and took that bonus it would be impossible to find out what the terms and conditions were at the time. These sticky bonuses are pretty common where they take the bonus back after you make a withdrawal. Personally, I don't see what the point is in giving you money and then taking it back. It's not really a bonus in my opinion. I'd call it a loan.

Newbies should note that though the player was paid it was not in totality and a full 9 months later. Obviously they felt that, for a small amount, they could give an impression that they do pay. Don't fall for it. If you win larger amounts even posting in this forum wont make them pay. See, they didn't pay the player in full. If you like Microgaming there are plenty of reputable casinos. Bonuses may be smaller but they act fairly and do pay if you get lucky. The OP has played to the casino's tune and posted that they had paid and personally I don't like these under-the-table deals.
