Gameplay vs winnings

What do you prioritise? Are you happy to stop after 5 mins if you're ahead or do you need to feel like you had decent gameplay? Feel like I'm prioritising bonuses and gameplay over winnings. I suppose the idea is to get both-hit a decent bonus and then withdraw some winnings but we all know chasing a bonus that then pays out 10x (90% of the time that happens) is quite often going to end up with a loss. Just wondering what others do. I feel like at this point it's stupid to chase bonuses and I should grab £20+ profit and run. Slots should be fun and not to make money obviously, but then at the end of the day we don't play to just lose...I mean I can pretty much predict how much a bonus will pay out at this point. I suppose the answer is to grab any winnings you can then move onto another slot/site before the slot goes cold?

To be honest it depends on how much I have in my wallet... If I have won a decent chunk in the days or weeks before I'll prioritise gameplay over cashing out immediately after a win. But doing that has cost me quite a few decent cashouts. Usually when I lost my early profit a couple of times I get myself back in check and take the money faster when I have a win.

Sometimes you just want to kill some time, enjoy some playtime, get some entertainment and there's nothing wrong with that IMHO.

I keep playing until I go bust or hit a decent amount if I do a £40 deposit and get up to £200+, I'll withdraw 75% of it and keep playing with the rest till I get another decent win or I lose it all. I never leave a balance in my accounts. Now that I've read this, I sound like a big red flag. Or if I'm getting tired or bored and say I've got £20 left, I say to myself I'll either play to nothing or get up to £40 and withdraw.

I guess I'm a walking red flag too then. I've squandered balances I left "overnight" more than once so I'd rather withdraw and redeposit when I want to play again.

Thanks guys-interesting to read how others play. I always try and get the max out of it that I can which is usually a losing strategy! Just played earlier and won £40 so I withdrew that-whereas usually I'd probably just keep playing. It's about getting into better habits I think. And I have to remind myself if I keep playing I'm not only going to lose my winnings but also probably my deposit as well-and that's quite costly. I think I'll give myself a week of withdrawing as soon as I hit £20 or more profit and see how I do.

We all want the perfect session of lots of entertainment and fun before a monster hit to end the night but I normally go in thinking entertainment as you are going to lose in the long run. I’m usually very good at withdrawing my deposit at the very least if I get around 2-3 deposits in profit. That way I’m going to do no worse than break even. I then take further chunks depending on how I do. My weakness ia when I tear through 2-300x stake with bugger all going on. I’ve improved massively in walking away due to the nature of many slots but I am worried that the recent releases, which may actually be fun to play, may make that a lot more difficult.
With Aristocrat coming online I’m going to be in real trouble when Buffalo Gold and Revolution become available. Mo Money and Timber Wolf Gold are already getting my attention as well as light and wonders huff n more puff. Do enjoy these games at a half decent RTP, although they are brutal in Vegas.
