Question Your opinion about "teasing" in slots?

I feel like a lot of slots, especially newer ones, tease the bonus way too much in my opinion. You constantly land two scatters but landing the third one and actually get into the bonus never happens, it's only teasing upon teasing upon teasing.

Some providers feels, in my opinion, more guilty of this than other 👀

Anyway - my question is - what is your opinion about teasing in slots?
Can it be too much or you enjoy it no matter what?

I like some teasing so the games doesn't feel dead but when it gets over the top it instead only becomes annoying for me and makes me rather not play the game to begin with. I need to feel that when the tease comes there is actually a chance of the bonus landing.
I will never be able to feel intrigued by a tease in a slot game when it's number 329 in a row I'll miss 🤪

I call it anticipation, its mandatory :)

I don't mind it when you are likely to get the bonus say 1 in 8 teases but when its doxens of teases without triggering it is annoying. I also prefer quick teases(ie each reel does not take 5 seconds to drop)
I don't mind it at all in games where I feel like I can land the bonus when the tease comes - Immortal 5 feels like this for me for example - a tease there = exciting cause I feel it can bonus.

On a lot of new Hacksaw and NLC games I would be rich at this point if I got 0.1$ every time it teases for bonus without it actually landing 🤪

It annoys me when you count average number of times a scatter lands on reel 5 and compare it to average number of times sactter lands on reel 5 when there are already 2 scatters in play and the percentages are way way off (like 1 in 5 generally, 1 in 30 when needed) If teases kept the actual scatter chances stable they'd be more fun.

It's annoying when they keep coming and coming and you can't break the streak. In that scenario, I'd rather just have one symbol drop to trigger a bonus, so I'm not being driven insane.

What really pinches my nipples though is the rarity with which Hacksaw and some other games drop a bonus after a tumble. Tease you with two bonus symbols, tumble to tease more, drop an entirely seperate feature symbol that also doesn't trigger anything, 0x.

I don't mind them on the two DOA slots as they pay 2x. Plus they seem random rather than added to constantly annoy (or enhance the experience if you like them!).

The slots I really found dumb were the ones where the tease indicates the 3rd isn't landing.

This happened on one of those slots with hold and spin coins plus scatters. If any four reels got 5 coins or 2 scatters the fancy tease would happen but the chance of it landing was so rare it was pointless.

The dumb thing was it would still do the tease if you already landed the bonus on the first 4 reels. I'm sure it also didn't do the extreme tease if it was going to land so it was even more pointless as you knew the patterns.

If the scatters pay I don't really mind the teasing either - then at least I get something to sit and watch.

I see the perspective that if you feel the teasing enhances the gambling experience it's fun with a lot of teases, maybe if I didn't gamble as much as I do I would feel more "excited" about it cause I wouldn't have experienced the same tease in the same game thousands of times before 🤪

The reason I tend to only like games like DOA and other simple slots is because the bonus round scatters just drop in.

For me it's more fun when they do that rather than the constant "hey look, look you might get a bonus, actually sorry no lol" teaser animations over and over.

When those types of bonuses finally hit it's more of an "about time" feeling than "oh nice".
