Screen legend Gene Hackman dead at 95....few will be surprised given his age, but most will be wondering as to the cause of his passing, with his wife also dead!

It does appear to be a certain 'thing', yet baffling nonetheless. Still, whatever the cause, it won't change the fact that the man was a true master of his craft whose style and gravitas will never be matched, and whose work always demanded attention. True all-time great

Brilliant actor, amazed he was that old. Very sad news, his dog was also found dead as well.

Very sad, RIP.

They don't make actors like that anymore, he's up there with the very best, I only watched 'the conversation' a few weeks back for the 2nd time.

Some lesser known films of his also I've watched are 'Scarecrow' alongside Al pacino, and 'Night Moves' where he's a private detective, both definitely worth searching out.
