New Slot Announcement Gonzo's Quest Megaways by Red Tiger

Always loved the slot, infact still the original probably pays more 400x wins than any of the megaways nonsense we see today or the fobty style buy a bonus piffle.

this slot also has character, it’s been around years and the character himself (gonzo) has fronted more casino webpages than a lady of the night has a quiet back alley.

rhino megaways was a joke, will they also ruin the big nosed bugger gonzo for a megaways never pays licence?..

probably.

I wonder why NetEnt are putting out their Megaways releases under Red Tiger? I get they're under the same ownership, but it seems a little odd. Perhaps they don't want to use a rival's name on their main brand I suppose.

Game looks fun anyway.

Could it be something to do with an agreement already in place between Red Tiger and BTG before Netent acquired?

First thought:

Was looking forward to this but now i see its Red Tiger im not even sure i can be bothered.

I know its the same ownership, possibly same team and designers even. Not even sure i can validate my reasoning without discussing RTP but it is what it is and its.... urrghhh.... Red Tiger.......just makes me feel like im drinking tescos blue stripe lager.

No thanks, what a shame and what a way to ruin Gonzos.

Second thought:

Lets watch the vid and hope im proved wrong :)

It's just another Red Tiger slot with a Netent theme so we will see nearly all UK facing casinos using the 94% RTP or lower, William Hill uses 92% on Piggy Riches MW so I expect no different from this one.

I do like Piggy MW but it's noticeably shit at 92%.

On a side note I've noticed that Red Tiger slots where the RTP has been lowered that the random bonuses (if it has one) triggers a lot less than it used to, so I assume that's where they've cut the RTP.

I know that struggle.
I have found 1 site on the Swedish market that runs full rtp, and does not have the jackpots added.

The slots have low rtp as it is, i dont need 3% of it to be eaten by a jackpot. :p

Starting to take us all for mugs, 91% flecking rtp, surely to god it must cost the casinos more in the long run with customers searching for better ones with a decent rtp. Is it really that cost effective to have a lower rtp than your competitors or are they all in it together.

It's ok, people will play it even if it ran at 85%. It's because it's Megaways you see, and it has a cartoon Conquistador doing little funny moves, like moonwalks haha

Speaking of which, ought this game not be pulled? It glamourizes 'endearing' Conquistadors that led to the the riproaring annulment of the Incas and large swathes of South America! Plus they kept slaves!

Oh no sorry. It's just a slot, silly me

95.77% at LeoVegas

A quick glance showed Casino Calzone running this at that also.

Probably Leo, Unibet, Calzone, 21Casino and sister sites like Fruity Casa etc and Novibet hopefully.

Im on the hunt this month for more max casinos. I dont like the way the list is looking and want to balance the scales a little.

VBet have been mentioned also and at first glance all is high so hoping to add them and find a few more.

Think Harry, in another thread, drew some dotted lines re VBet to some previously less than desirable operators.

But they’ve a UKGC licence now I think and they wouldn’t give them out to anyone *cough, 888.com’

I should be excited about this release but I'm simply not.. and it baffles me as to why I'm not excited, because I really like Gonzo's Quest and most Megaways influenced games.

Gonzo's Quest already had the multipliers and cascades; adding the megaways engine doesn't really do much to change the game either positively or negatively. I think that's the issue.

Gave it a whirl £100 @ 60p biggest win £6,should have known better as I checked the rtp before playing,
bag of shit, never to be played again.
Cant do Red Tiger good running at these dire payouts, set at 93% which is way too low then take out more
for jackpot. They wont generate any brand or game loyalty from that.

Guess ill be playing at Unibet if im gonna play gonzo.
A little birdie told me they have it set a bit higher than other sites.

Edit: Im not sure this is for all markets, so might wanna check.
Tried it at unibet. Game crashed 20 times in 300 spins. Tried the 92% at lvbet 93 % ojo and 94% everum. Totally different. Really fun at 98

98% you say!

Just logged in but cannot find the game :(

It was me that suggested VBet and I should point out that they are running at max on nearly all slot providers such as Play & Go -except for Red Tiger. Red Tiger are on the lowest settings there.

Not on Unibet yet i see?

Unibet are a solid outfit; they've increased their payout times recently as well: weren't too shabby beforehand (normally 2 hours) but last few have been done in <5minutes.

Kroffe said he saw it at 98% - me wants, me wants!

Unibet are brilliant for me and nearly everything i expect from a good casino. Professional (rarer than you might think in my experience) Bucket loads to choose from all at max RTP. Decent comps that are mostly all inclusive - multiplier wins with no min bet. Payment is fast. Site is so smooth it puts others to shame. They clearly have no problem paying for their tech and services/bandwith etc and make sure theres enough for smooth op.

Only thing im missing is winning. Its the one casino im seriously down on lol.

That's why they can afford the tech services - you are paying for them :)

Lovely hit, what stake was that on? Also take it with it being VS it’ll be the lowest possible RTP?..
It was £1 stake... I had like 67% rtp for over 1000 spins. I was doing .20 and .40 spins and decided to throw my last 20 into £1 spins.. got the £300 and then the £4000 within the next 100 spins.
I'm not too sure what the actual rtp is on VS.

Probably not the UK market. :(

When you enter the bonus round on the "Unibet version" you get a gamble wheel same as on Mystery reels megaways where you can gamble your spins.
Same as on mystery reels megaways you can gamble 3 times and im assuming reach max 50 spins.

Is it a coincidence that mystery reels megaways also has a 98% version, or is the extra rtp tied into that godforsaken gamble to increase your spins maybe.

Haha, my deposits wont cover the cost of a monthly wage of one of their staff.

I think their the kind of casino thats here to stay. Any company investing in their platform but still keeping their RTP high are aiming for the top.

If i recall correctly they made significant investment in their platform/tech services last year or the year before.

92.01% including jackpots on Bwin... What a disgrace.

I think 95.77% without jackpots is the "standard" highest RTP?

Long live Unibet and their exclusive 98% RTP version!

I think the 98% version is non UK.

As nobody can seem to find it on Unibet UK.

So it seems there is a benefit to the 'no bonus' Swedish market in that they get a selection of different games at the real max RTP. Nice touch i think.

Yes in UK it seems the best casinos (in this sense) have it at 95.77%.
