Hi everyone,

My name is Ugis and I’m based in the UK. I’ve recently joined the forum after running into an issue with an online casino withdrawal, and I’m hoping to both learn from others’ experiences and share my own.

I’ve got a background in engineering and tend to approach things in a straightforward, problem-solving way, so when something doesn’t add up — like delays or lack of transparency — I like to dig into it properly and understand what’s going on.

I’m fairly new to posting on forums like this, but I’ve been reading through some of the threads here and it’s clear there’s a lot of knowledge and experience in this community. I’m looking forward to contributing where I can and getting a better understanding of how these situations are usually handled.

The guys here are so knowledgeable and helpful.
If they can help they will.
However my opinion now is that Casinos are changing in the UK....using legislation as they excuse but are applying very vague rules to extract more and more private information from people whilst withholding winnings or even freshly deposited money of your own but still allowing you to play with what is in your account.
I have got to the stage where I do not actually trust any casino at the moment.
The idea that they can come along root around in your personal info (and you are correct transparency over how that information is used and stored is awful) and ask for more and more whilst withholding your own money is crazy.
I have closed 3 accounts this week and more will follow.
I am based in the UK btw.
