Horrid new Skype - help please!

So I finally accepted the latest "upgrade" to Skype yesterday... BIG MISTAKE!
Now I have white/grey writing on a black background

Can't see a "settings" icon anywhere...

Anyone know how to get to settings?, if the colours can be changed?, or if it's possible to go back to the nice version?

Could you screenshot how the new Skype looks (while covering important info ofc)?
And what are the faults, apart from what sounds like horrible design?

Pretty sure if you click on your skype picture on the top left of the screen and click on settings you can choose a different mode.
"Light", "Dark", "Windows default" are your options. I think "Windows default" is the old style

Haven't investigated everything - but one thing I noticed is I can no longer edit the other person's description...
e.g. I can't change Martyn to Legend Affs - I'm stuck with CWC
{edit} OK - I worked out how to do that now!

Seems like you got rid of your issues?

As it's been said previously it seems like clicking your profile picture gives you all the options you need.

For anything specific I'm sure I can look into it.

Yes, sorted thanks.
I was looking everywhere for a little "cog" or other settings icon - I didn't know about clicking my avatar - I've never had to change any setting before!

I've not used Skype since I got fleeced by Ting Ting who loved me long time from the Philippines :sob:

3 most annoying things on the new Skype:

1) Often missed (non-shown) replies to my latest conversations
2) You need to dig around to find Add contact option
3) There's no Send Contact option anymore

If you know something about point 3 that I missed, please let me know

It's always worth backing up your old version when updating, just in case.
