King Billy Tips?!

I just signed on to King Billy and noticed they have a new "Bonus Store" feature. At first it seems like the normal sort of thing... exchange "King's points" (loyalty points) for bonus rewards (free spins, etc). But then I see a section for stuff you can buy with cash, and at the beginning is "King's tips" which is a donation to the casino in exchange for nothing. Excuse me... but since when is a casino a not for profit? I understand tipping a card or roulette dealer and like sites where you can tip other players .... but tip the casino?! We "tip" the casino everytime we play! This is the craziest most tone deaf thing I have ever seen. Im truly baffled at how they thought this was a good idea. Immediately makes me want to never deposit there ever again.

More disturbing is that King Billy have recently lowered the RTP-settings on numerous providers and also keep interrupting your sessions with frequent disconnects and game errors while they were always running real smoothly earlier.

Most disturbing is that when you go to initiate a withdrawal, you get a pop up bonus offer encouraging you to forfeit your WD in exchange for a bonus.

I used King Billy years ago. I stopped though as all their promo's and free spins etc all came with wagering which was way too high. Their loyalty program is also very ordinary.

@spindoctor99 I agree. It was one of the

Yeah it was one of the first online casinos i played at before I discovered the crypto casinos and deposited/wagered quite a lot so am highest rank VIP so get decent cashback if i deposit at least 300/week but i agree... loyalty leaves a lot to be desired and it seems with any improvement they make in one area its always met with two or more downgrades elsewhere. I rarely play there anymore because of this but deposit now and then cause they have a few providers I tend to have good luck with... but this tip thing might be the nail in the coffin for me.

I stopped playing there because they fucked around verifying my account. Tried to withdraw 5k and they kept declining my documents for really bizarre reasons. Funnily enough while they were mucking about I lost the balance.. took them two weeks to verify my account. After that I never went back.

id selfie with a note? then saying your selfie taking arm isn't in the picture but when it is the ID is now a little blurry so they say its not clear even though it still legible? How were they available in australia btw i thought you guys were pretty closed off although I'm a bit clueless when it comes to aussie gambol

Mated I sent them multiple bank statements then they said that they would only accept "posted" statements that were then scanned and uploaded and not PDF versions from internet banking. They ended up verifying them but it took way too long. Quite a few crypto casino's accept Aussie customers but I think it depends on the license. Unfortunately though quite a few gaming providers arent available so basically we get the leftovers. We can't use providers like Netent, QuickSpin, No Limit, Hacksaw, Blueprint etc but can use providers such as bgaming and pragmatic.

Personally I think that they make so much money from Australian customers that even if they received a fine.. it wouldn't matter much. Australia has the second highest number of slot machines in the world. Second to Vegas.

back when I played at their sites pdf was wahat was accepted, very odd. they must have different regs for their interactions with aussies or when operating with crypto compared to say interac.

yeah i remember them being a nightmare for verification at first. but once i was approved and started only depositing crypto its never been a problem again. usually get my withdraw within a couple hours of requesting.

FWIW we have good contacts at Dama that would almost certainly be helpful when it comes to resolving issues at KingBilly. If you need assistance here it is: Submit Complaint.

I haven't played there in ages. I probably deposited between 8-9k in a short space of time, had issues withdrawing and never went back. I'm a fickle customer and when casino's reject withdrawals for petty reasons I won't redeposit there.

King Billy really is on the decline.

The connection issues persist. I don't think I've managed 100 consecutive spins without interruption on any slot for the past several months.

Withdrawals initiated on the weekend are left pending untill Monday morning. This is actually nothing unusual, but with King Billy in the past, they would always look at your WD request within a couple of hours no matter what.

Support takes longer to answer than before.

The VIP manager will occasionally send out some freebies (some fairly generous ones too, it must be said) but when you go to the chat to claim it, you are left with a far less valuable bonus than what was promised. This has happened twice only in recent weeks and is annoying, to say the least.

They also take longer to add new slot titles to their collection, I've seen several popular titles available nearly anywhere take up to a couple of weeks to be added at King Billy.

Like said earlier in this thread, they've lowered the RTP setting for several providers - Pragmatic, Popiplay etc. - and this is a sad direction indeed.
Also, the pop up bonus offer on a WD request, which you actively have to click away before you can proceed with the WD, encouraging you to forfeit it, is simply a disgusting practice.
