Malfunctions void all pays and plays

Feel bad for her but obviously that machine can't pay out $42 million . Doesn't look like it's connected to any combined progressive jackpot or anything . Casino should do better than a steak dinner compensation though - how insulting

Just to clear some bad info up
I play this same machine at any casino I can find it at . This machine is 4.00 a pull for Max play .To win a jackpot you have to play MAX bet
99.99% of the people that play this machine rarely play it at 4.00 . They usually play it at 2.40 or less
Even if she was playing one in the high limit area at 400.00 a pull max bet and she hot a jackpot it would only be 2,000,000.00
The Max payout on the one she was playing is 6,500.00
Now,having said all that here is the real kicker
The machine never said she had a jackpot
If she had hit a jackpot, the machine would come up please call attendent for payout
She was cashing out and it was printing her ticket
Look at the screen it plainly states printing cash ticket
She had stopped playing and was cashing out to walk away
The casino is correct it is a malfunction.
You can bet she did not puit 42 million in it before play started and she was cashing out that much
At no point does machine show a jackpot

ok that's true, but however this is incredibly BAD advertisement for that casino.
It seems this "technical malfunctioning" has been managed really badly.
Personally I am not going to visit this casino if travelling in that area.

thats correct, if it was jackpot, machine should have been disabled asking for attendant. It is normal procedure most slot here in Australia will disable at $1,000 winning or more from one spin in regular game or total overall in free spin/bonus. The attendant have to use key to confirm that jackpot is occurred or not.

I don't blame her, the way they handled it was terrible. And didn't make any sense at all, why not give her a couple grand and turn it into good publicity, sort of. What's a couple thousand for a casino anyway, and might have stopped her from suing.

She would have known that she didn't win anything and that the machine malfunctioned, and is just purely trying it on. I think she will be laughed out of court lol
