Press release from Microgaming:

25 April 2013

FIVE NEW SLOTS FROM MICROGAMING IN MAY

ISLE OF MAN – Microgaming enhances its portfolio of online slot games with the addition of five new video slots for May.

Bust the Bank provides a non-stop, adrenaline filled gaming experience. In this five reel, 243 ways-to-win video slot, players conspire with thieves Larry and Bob, in a bid to Bust the Bank and take off with bags full of cash. Guarding the bank’s assets are fearsome guard dogs and daunting security guards, but there are a range of free spins, scatters and exploding wilds to assist players with the break-in of the vault.

The game is designed to suit all pockets, with a betting range from £0.30 to £300. The rewards on offer are epic, with a top prize of £82,000 in the base game and a staggering £135,000 on the free spins feature.

Bust the Bank will be available on Microgaming’s download, Flash and Quickfire platforms.

Mystic Dreams, a five reel, 243 ways-to-win video slot, transports players to the ancestral lands of the Native American tribes. The Native American theme is perfectly illustrated through the sharp and captivating reel graphics of wolves, chiefs and dream catchers, which bring the ancient plains and mountains to life.

To trigger the free spins feature, three or more totem pole symbols must land adjacent to each other on the reels. The free spins feature changes the backdrop of the game to a moonlit scene, and players are awarded 10, 15 or 20 free spins. In addition, tepee scatter symbols and multipliers provide players with a huge winning opportunity. With a dream combination, players can reap an extraordinary 24x reward.

Mystic Dreams will be available on Microgaming’s download, Flash and Quickfire platforms.

As wedding season approaches, Bridezilla invites players to a wedding party with a big difference. This five reel, 243 ways-to-win video slot celebrates all the traditions of a wedding. Leaving no detail untouched, it includes everything from the church to bouquets and wedding cakes.

Players can achieve big prizes when three, four or five wedding bell scatters trigger the Bridezilla bonus feature, which transforms the blushing bride into a terrifying Bridezilla. As Bridezilla enters rage mode, she dishes out up to 10x multipliers and between 10 and 20 free spins. The angry bride also acts as the wild symbol providing plenty of winning combinations for players to prosper in this game.

Bridezilla will be available on Microgaming’s Flash platform.

Galacticons is an out-of-this-world five reel, 243 ways to win video slot that blasts players into space on a mission to win huge prizes. Players are joined by friendly aliens and a spacecraft on their journey across the galaxy; solar flares, milky ways and the black hole also feature, providing ample winning chances.

Three or more solar flare symbols trigger the elusive Big Bang bonus feature and players will be rewarded with up to 20 free spins and up to 5x multiplier. The black hole appears at the start of the free spins feature; it moves randomly across the symbols and replaces the symbol it eclipses. Furthermore, when the milky way symbol appears, players can boost their winnings with additional multipliers. Galacticons will not only provide hours of fun and entertainment but will send gamers over the moon with its cash prizes.

Galacticons will be available on Microgaming’s Flash platform.

Mugshot Madness escorts players into the world of 1950’s cops and gangsters, with a memorable cast of crooks and criminals. This 20 payline video slot boasts an impressive bonus feature, which is triggered by three or more badge symbols. During the Line-Up feature, players need to capture the criminals to win bonus prizes; for each criminal caught, the player receives a multiplier value which is applied to the players total bet. If they manage to find Boss Moretti – the biggest criminal of all – they will win 10x their total bet. With a range of crafty characters and huge amounts of swag up for grabs, players would be mad to not try this new slot game.

Mugshot Madness will be available on Microgaming’s Flash platform.

thanks
but um, I've been playing Bridezilla, Galacticons and Mugshot Madness for months now

I think they only have been available through Quickfire, but will now also be released on the Flash platform.

But yeah, bit strange that they included these three titles in the press release.

Soooo...two brand new games and three old games :D

Oh joy! Mostly more 243-way tosh. Perhaps AC/DC can rework their old classic for us slot players 'I'm on the 2-4-3 way to hell' :D

Where do you guys play these slots?! I can see only mugshot madness at 32red :(

did you try googling? it pulls it up in the search no problem; personally, i played it at redrabbit, which I'm pretty sure I mentioned in the thread if you actually read it

So is it £135,000 on a £300 bet? Not impressive.

only promo vid ive seen so far on youtube for bust the bank,

Just by looking at it, I know that it won't run smoothly on my laptop. It has Girls with Guns and Piggy Fortunes written all over it, which are unplayable for me. The graphics will become all jerky and the laptop will overheat within 2 minutes of play.

No, I won't be buying a $2000 gaming laptop with dedicated graphics just to play your slots, Microgaming. Stupid trend.

Unfortunately as with everything you have to keep up with the times lol Although a basic modern laptop i5 with onboard graphics for around about 500 will run them just fine

Interesting new games Im waiting for those to turn up soon on 32Red. I have to agreed with few who has problem with basic video card that cannot cope with intense graphic animation that can causes jerky/slowiness in spin. Its a major problem. Especially on laptop with integrated Intel is not as good as ATI or Nvidia video cards though which is common. Intel graphic card use very low power so it saves a lot of laptop battery power. Some have hybrid video cards that can switch back and forth depends on graphic display like video, HD movie, games etc but problem is Hybrid does show some symptom problem still. So if you have problem make sure you head to ATI setting and add some programs require to run maximum performance and that will help. Microgaming need to do a bit of tweaking to improve the graphic for those Intel video card so it will play properly.

ok ive just deposit about $300 at 32red today in 4 deposits no withdrawal:(, dont know but prolly done about 500-600 spin at .90 on bust the bank, no free spins, and no piggy in the middle :eek2: got 5oak on biggest paying symbol once paid 50x the bet, im sure it can be big if you hit the free spins with wilds stacked on reel 1 and 5, but so far its taking my money, im sure i give at another go though.

had the pig drop in the middle 4 times in my session today, it paid x40, x40, x20, x20, didn't hit the free spins in my session either, and went rapidly down from 100 to 30 quid at .60 bets, when i hit 30 quid i just went from 3.00 spins and the 2 pig features meant i could escape to test another day :D

Also had a little play, looks quite high variance but only a few hundred spins so early days. No free spins mode which looks like the payback, pig twice, 20x bet both times. Didn't like the two dogs graphic, I mean, a dog urinating on a win line...really?!

Went over to TFROL and made it all back ;)

I also try this new slot Bust the bank with 1,50€ bet. I got the highest paying symbols in the middle with stacked wilds on reels 1 and 5. Not bad!

at 32red it wasnt available yet until now at least for me

i tried in FL (lucky of me was in practice)

made more than 100 spins in bust the bank didnt get any bonus feature, get free spins 1 time and i won a "fantastic" 12x bet :/

the coin size is set to 0.02 as default. just click on the bet text then you get a popup menu where you can change it.

image snipped..

yeah I noticed it in the end after I cashed out :D

playing at 60p managed two free spin bonuses one was about 110x other was about 50x also lots of 5oak action in normal spins.
first impressions: game is not bad, but then I was winning and any game is good when you're winning on it.

bust my bank

this game ate my bankroll this morning :)

i deposited 50 this morning with a view to just seeing the bonus round, 223 spins later on minimum bet 0.30 and the £50 is gone, with the biggest win at x10 :D pretty dire even by my standards :) ,

i did redeposit and carry on playing and get a x100 line hit on a bigger bet so ended up positive, slots grrrr :)

Bust the Bank = meh

Mystic Dreams = meh

Just about every MG proprietary slot released since Immortal Romance = MEH

Bridezillas = actually not too bad. fun.

Galacticons = I really like this one. Played it elsewhere before and had some very nice hits.

Mugshot Madness = I've had bonus several times (elsewhere) and it seems to pay what Jessica Simpson has between her ears.

Seems to me the only decent slots recently are coming from other providers. I played some Play'n'Go and NextGen slots today (thanks Rainmaker for the awesome casino selection on your site!) and, although I didn't win, I really enjoyed it.

MG are going to have to start doing something special to keep my loyalty.

same really, the 2 new ones didn't win me over..sure, the cop games was fun, but couldn't hit squat...the other was just another in a line of trotted out tired American Native cliche games
But as for Brideszilla and Galacticons, I've been playing those for months now and like both

If anyone still think that MGS is using real reels in the base game after playing for an hour on Bust the Bank, I've got a bridge for sale...

The first, third and fifth reels would have to have several thousands of symbols for this to be true. I played quite a bit, got the piggy once (60x), at no time I got the safe on the first reel and I didn't get the free spins once either (despite getting 2 scatters 30+ times, which puts IR in a bad mood in a good light).

For a game with that many bonuses, you'd expect a few of them to drop once in a while, but they don't. It looks like the piggy drops about at the same rate as the Wild Desire on IR, and the free spins, well, I'd guess about the same rate as the progressive wheel on TDK playing at $0.30...

It acts like a high variance slot, but I'm not convinced that the big big wins are there.

Also, props to the guy who decided that it would be a good idea to give back 1/15th of your stake when you get 2 bulldogs

1000 spins and 1 game of free spins at spin 461, which paid 2.30 (0.60 bet)

Are you serious? I assumed that the free spins would be a big win for sure with the 2 locked wild reels. Where the hell is the RTP? Is it all in the small wins that we get back all the time? Horrible!

Ain't that the truth! It's also true for NetEnt who haven't released a decent slot since Starburst. It's all about bells and whistles nowadays. I'd not be surprised to learn that they hire movie and cartoon producers to make their slots instead of actual players.

deadly serious, i won well on mega break the bank earlier, so decided to give it another trial, the potential for huge wins are there with reel 1 +5 locked on free spins, but also a good chance to get 0 in most spins, its good to see that some people have hit it well in the winners screenshots but i think this slot hates me, almost felt like swapping to IR to play something safer :D

in 1000 60p spins i ended up down 150 for 600 wagered (im sure it could be worse), was working my way through a bonus, obviously not the best slot to retain money on, but a good opportunity to test it, since i was up a alot :) ive had a few decent line hits but nothing to sustain the junk in between :)

Well personally speaking I like most of the MG slots released lately. Girls with guns pays huge and often, at least for me.
I also spent about 3 hours on Bust the bank last night and made a nice tidy profit, lots of features in this slot and very graphically pleasing. Most slots can pay if its in the right mood. This one is no different. Claiming a slot doesnt pay because it didnt happen to hit for you is nonsensical. Like every slot its all about being in the right place at the right.

Oh please. If you read all the comments here, you'll see that we've got a fair chunk of spins all together (5000+?), which is usually enough to get an idea about a slot. The comments from different people are very similar, it's not like we tried it for 100 spins each and then concluded that it's crap because we didn't win.

I'm glad that you won (someone has to!).

I definitely like Bust the Bank, hit this on a $3 spin (3 skinny robbers on the middle reels):

Ended up with $1408 when the free spins were done. I also had a free spin round where nothing lined up for a 5oak, it happens.

Didn't hit much on Mystic Dreams, didn't lose much either, got free spins a few times but nothing screenshot worthy.

MG are going to have to start doing something special to keep my loyalty.

I've long since reached the point where I can't even be bothered to fire up the media centre PC to take a look at new MG slot releases in free money mode, let alone deposit and real cash to give them a try.

On the odd occasion I do play for real cash at MG, it's generally on the old favourites and a bit of IR.

(Mind you, Netent have gone the same way, truth be told.)

Had a crack on BtB last night, 150 deposit , 717 spins , 80% @ $0.60 and no bonus round, top win was $20 twice, 2 piggy banks for $12

Got a decent amount of play but no bonus round so might be a while before i try again. I enjoyed soccer safarri and have had good wins on that bonus feature so potential is there, just not my night this time.

Oh well, someone gotta win, someone gotta lose

;)

I've just put a decent wedge of spins through Bust The Bank, had a dead patch of over 300 spins without a bonus round or hitting a 20x stop trigger, and another of over 200 spins.

However, the free spins round, whilst rare, does seem to pay well (which is how I'd rather have it TBH).

The safe bonuses on reels 1 and 5 are fairly uninspiring, as is the chap who runs across the screen and drops a money bag - they do break up the endless dead spins a bit though.

Didn't see the piggy bank bonus at all.

Overall I like this slot, aesthetically it's very pleasant and the pay weightings appear sensible - certainly has a high variance feel to it as is standard issue for MG these days, but as time goes by I'm tending to find myself preferring to play higher variance slots, so that's not a problem.

Sorry to say that MG still haven't got on top of the Viper client performance issues though. I'm playing on a very a capable gaming PC, and yet after an hour of play on BTB everything was lurching and jerking, with regular little 'mini pauses' that totally spoiled the feel of the slot. I don't know why the hell MG can't get this sorted, it's pretty embarrassing when a small outfit like 3Dice can produce their own 3D accelerated games client that runs at a sliky smooth 60FPS - and yet MG still have the clunking horror show that is the Viper client.

Decent bonus round here - 615x stake.

Actually I did try Silent Run on Guts last night, and I've got to say I never thought I'd see a worse slot than St*****st but I have now. My eyes glazed over by the time I'd lost 60 quid without a feature. It reminds me (the noises) of the MB 'Computer Battleships' which came out in the 1980's.
