I no longer have a bank account to withdraw funds to and have asked the provider, 888 casino if I can withdraw to PayPal .I received an email saying they would ask the payments team with the caveat that as it was and external provider they couldn't guarantee there wouldn't be issues ,this seems really weird ,surely PayPal is a safe method of withdrawing and they do advertise the method on the site .They have suspended my account under responsible gambling

So PayPal shouldnt be an issue. You should get everything confirmed with live chat and ask them to go ahead with your withdrawal. If that doesn't workout you should reactivate your bank account and get done with your withdrawal.
I am really more concerned about how you are receiving your funds/salary and doing other financial activities without a bank account.

I have bank account with my wife ,the other account I used purely for gambling with a set amount each month ...the definition or responsibility I would say, but as always when you have a decent win all these things get called into question.Im not prepared to have a 9 k withdrawal into the joint account as we may be moving soon and will require a small remortgage (this would be knocked back on the basis of regular gambling despite it being in a controlled manner) Would you not be worried when a provider tells you they can't guarantee not encountering problems with a withdrawal method (PayPal in this instance )

I've been using PayPal to depo and withdraw for years and never had an issue. I think it looks dodgy if you try to withdraw to another method than what you used to deposit though, maybe that is what they mean? I actually didn't think sites let you withdraw to another method, especially since it seems like you haven't used PayPal to deposit before? I don't get why you can't just withdraw to paysafe if that's how you deposited? I'm sure someone in the know will be able to confirm but I've always heard you can only withdraw to the method you used to deposit. Maybe anti money laundering laws or something, I'm not sure.

Yep, I was and am of the same view, always withdraw using the same method used for depositing. Definitely worth asking the PAB team to assist you.

You cannot withdraw to paysafe. I used to deposit to B365 using this method years ago.
Withdrawal was via bank transfer.

@SYPlayer95 ah I see! I just assumed it was like PayPal.

Yeah I think pretty much all sites have this rule. Perhaps there are special circumstances if there are no other options as OP says their bank account is closed so where would they send the money?

Do sites even let you?

Whenever I try to make a withdrawal it always makes me withdraw to my initial deposit location and doesn't give me a say on that.

so an update, casino are insisting I withdraw to a bank account .They have stated PayPal is not available option as it could be third party funds ,I don't see how this could be as the PayPal is clearly my account and. has been verified
I've read on here the casino in question do not respond to the PAB service

Ive never known a mortgage get knocked back for gambling transactions on an account - all the banks are concerned about (at least in the UK) are affordability - if you can afford the monthly repayment, especially if you have a decent deposit then the banks don't really care.

Not judging you at all, and this may seam harsh but this (at least to me) comes across a bit like "my mrs doesn't know I gamble so don't want her to see a 9k withdrawal" - not judging if thats the case (been there, done that, will probably do it again) but I would just be saying to the Mrs don't ask any questions but there is an extra 9k landing in the account which we can use towards the house

Yeah they're very strict on this. I don't know if even a PAB could help you as it's probably the sort of rule casinos HAVE to abide by. I hope someone more knowledgeable comes along and can explain what your options are at this point.

I did have a bank account and I had used it to deposit ,not for a while though as I mainly used paysafe .The bank account is now closed so I don't have access to one at the moment
You have your own question answered right here even if you missed it. All (Maybe 95%, at least 100% of legitimate Casinos)

Will insist you have to withdraw the same way you did you last deposit ; at least clearing the amount you deposited ; they refer to it as “Closing the payment Loop” or just “Closing the loop”; it’s an anti -fraud /Chargeback prevention method

So Even if they had another method you could use , you will still need to withdraw back to bank initially ; you would find this out when you requested a withdrawal, an gets sent to be authorized

You are going to have to open a bank account or reopen the one closed. Once done the Payments team at the casino will let you know min amount required the close the payment cycle and withdraw via bank; of there is still monies left over after this and want to withdrawn another way; this can be done at this stage ; but once bank account opened it maybe easier to move to the one bank.

It would make it easier if casinos didn't offer payment options you can't withdraw to like, apparently, Paysafe. I never used the method but how is it a "closed loop" if you deposit using a Paysafe card and withdraw to a bank account?

You could use "3rd party" cash to buy a card, play the safest game possible in terms of wagering your deposited amount and withdraw to bank. Doesn't really sound safe to me in terms of AML.

Why would it be less safe in terms of AML to withdraw to a verified Paypal account? Doesn't make sense to me.
