Don't want to cross post. I didn't spot this until today, I'd posted a few days ago to this one:

Though, this thread is more active, so here's the update.
Finally received the $1K withdrawal to bank account today. From woe to go, including the 5 day (supposed) 3'rd party processor stuff-up, and the payment being reissued Monday (2019/03/25), in total its taken 9 working days. This also included 2 or 3 emails back and forth to my VIP manager, and reaching out to SM Rep Charlotte twice.
I've searched high and low, all over the SM site, but there's no "Live Chat" for me, only a contact form. When I used that form to inquire about the delay in verifying my ID documents, it took a further 4 days to receive a reply. Though by that time, the VIP manager had reached out with a welcome to VIP level.
The ID doc issue was they wouldn't accept my AU driver's license, even though on their KYC upload page, it clearly stated DL was accepted photo ID. So instead of contacting me at that point, they let it slide till I made contact, and then took a further 4 days to respond. In the end, and after explaining in AU, unlike the UK or EU, a passport is
not something everyone has.
To their credit, my VIP manager explained all this, and SM now accept DL's for photo ID from AU.
From this experience, seems SM is currently in a bit of muddle. Nothing seems to flow, instead, is disjointed, which seems to be placing a heavy burden on both productivity and efficiency. The other thing that sticks out, staff seem to be away a lot. My VIP guy seems to start late, then finishes early, then tells me he wont be in for 3 days.
Their operating a casino (CM accredited), not a newspaper stand. Gamblers play 24/7, and not having systems, staff or whatever else it take to ensure customers are looked after throughout each day and night, every day the week, is where it seem payments and other issues are beginning to mount up, and cause collateral negativity towards the SM brand. As other members have posted, their review here states payments are made within 6-12 hours. Yet, more and more members are saying their withdrawals are locked in pending states for literally days.
Even though some members have said SM will eventual pay, that's little comfort to those stuck in this seemly, ever revolving door. In my case, even in AU, other casinos can pay back to Visa, and that arrives in 2 working days, without fail. There's no valid excuse in my mind why SM can't follow suit.
