Virtual Sports Matches at Online Casino's

So I've been reading a few posts on this topic on reddit and a few months ago I was contemplating betting on a virtual tennis match but didn't. I noticed that the match was listed on the sports page but when I researched it I realised the results are based on a RNG and its completely random.

Its basically a slot machine dressed as a sports event. Its quite misleading though as its under the sports betting area when the reality is that there is no sport being played. I think some people who have a quick look might place bets without realising that it is a simulated match when the games are listed with regular matches.

While online casino's can offer any product they want it should be in the sports betting section. It amazes me that these products can be offered, considering there are hundreds of events on every day why do the need to "create" more.

To stop the bettor wondering off and playing somewhere else seems the most obvious answer. I spent a bit of time in my 20's in betting shops. Now, bearing in mind there are races every 10 minutes on a typical day in the UK, you can even feed in races from South Africa, Asia, North America, the bookies still had virtual races in between the actual races. My logical conclusion was 'keep em betting' and 'keep em distracted' and it worked to be honest, punters would regularly bet on these fake races.

My issue with the simulated games is that the scoring was predictable. In tennis the underdog always seems to get a decent lead and then somehow they get broken and lose. Seemed to happen a lot. You can't check or watch as its completely made up.

I remember those horse racing simulated things at the TAB years ago and betting on them was like betting on dish lickers (greyhounds). The simulated ones were for the real degens although a few people I spoke to always reckoned they had worked it all out. I could never understand the logic though as was actual horse racing on from like 9am - 3am and yet they still needed fake ones.

It’s like playing video blackjack and other video variants of card games - like playing slots as you say.
