Afternoon All,

Some advice please.

Had a decent spell back in April on the above site.

Been playing recently and noticed i was unable to deposit due to hitting a loss limit.

Live chat agent advise my loss limit was £625 for the month, APPLIED BY WINOMANIA on 2nd May 2025

Despite this, I have been able to deposit much more, I would think that I am entitled to a refund based on amounts deposited- withdrawals - 625 loss limit since 2 May 2025.

Can anybody confirm if this is correct?

Look forward to hearing people's opinion on this one.

If you have indeed lost more than your loss limit you should be entitled to a refund. However given these systems are automatic seems very unlikely this would have happened. If you look into it you are most likely within the limit. For instance it may work on a 30 day rolling basis so will take into account previous 30 days hence your april wins will be taken into account or may work on calender month basis in which case May 1st will be taken into account. Its unlikely in my experiemce that it will only take into account period from may 2nd omwards so I doubt you are due any refund.

Appreciate your reply.
Just for avoidance of doubt then?
The limit was applied by the casino as of 2nd May 2025. So surely, the limit starts at 0. I shouldn't start at -£xx?
If they've set the limit from 2nd May and no limit previous, how can it be justified they have pulled wins in from previous days when the limit did not exist.
That does not seem fair or legal to me...
My opinion of course.

So the limit will work over a set period usually previous 30 days on a rolling basis or on a calender month basis.
As soon as the limit is implemented it can take into account the covered period. So if for instance it works on a 30 day rolling period as soon as its impemented it will can ( and in my experience usually will ) take into account the previous 30 days wins and losses. What this means is your limit can be used up the second its implemented meaning you cant play for a month.
If on a calender month period I often find it will give you the full limit on day 1 but this cant be guarenteed.
Usually the site will show the remaining limit so I very much doubt you have a claim.

Their email was:
'In this regard, we would like to inform you that after a thorough review, we’ve made the decision to set a loss limit for your account, for the amount of £ 625 per month.'

To me, a limit applied on 2 May for £625, its clear as day to me.
They've obviously done something different, may a 'net' loss limit, but thats not what they've said to me.

I go off face value and my loss limit per month, ie. The month of May is in excess of £625.

Ive checked the website and attached the relevant section about limits and it doesn't ever cover 'loss limits'

Clearly a loss limit is going to be a net loss limit. It clearly says loss not deposit. I cant see anything misleading in their email. A loss limit on a 30 day rolling period would be considered a monthly loss limit. It doesnt have to be per calender month. Im quite certain it set out clearly on the site. I dont understand your grounds for complaint.

Maybe I am interpreting this incorrectly, thats the reason I asked for advice.

A loss limit applied at 2nd May 2025. My loss limit is £625, therefore. Id expect on 2 May 2025 for my limit to be £625, no more, no less.

Not, oh by the way youre in profit for £500 29 days ago, so your limit is now £1125 etc. That doesn't make sense.

Loss limit per month they stated, e.g May 2025.

How can you go back retrospectively when applying a limit?

Im clearly wasting my time responding to you as you are completely ignoring what Ive explained to you.
I understand your point, however what you've described and what they've said to me are two different things.

A 30 day rolling limit you mention.

I was told a 625 limit per month.

The two are very, very different things.

Apologies if you unable to grasp that.

Cheers

Perhaps a re-read of the Casinomeister Forum Rules is in order:

1.1 - No "Flaming": Please do not post any messages that harass, insult, belittle, threaten or flame another member or guest. Abusive behavior will not be tolerated and your account may be suspended. ...

You haven’t been granted a “Big Man” badge as yet so perhaps remembering that you are talking to your peers here would be a wise move.

PS. There is no “Big Man” badge so no joy there either.

Removed due to wrong thread.

Edit: No difference to the above user with passive aggressive comments:

'Im clearly wasting my time responding to you as you are completely ignoring what Ive explained to you.'

If what the above user is saying is correct it wouldn't warrant a response.

It is okay to have a difference in opinion

Last time I checked a month contained approx 30 days. I've tried to explain to you how a monthly limit works. You are ignoring it. I assume its because it doesn't fit your "book". Waste your time complaining if you wish but I would be very surprised if you got anywhere.

Confirmed that indeed they use a 30 day rolling period so your previous wins would have been taken into account.
Appreciated. I am only looking for facts.

Not when it comes to the Casinomeister Forum Rules and direction given to you by a forum moderator. You were rude, belittling and dismissive and you got smacked for it: big up and take your medicine.

You are one among many equals here, please behave accordingly. If that is too much to ask of you then the Exit awaits.
