As you may be aware, Nikantw won an all expense paid trip to Malta which includes visiting the Rizk offices. He gets a tour, a crash course in online casino operations, and a meet-and-greet the staff encounter. And of course imbibing in libations and the gastronomy of Malta. :thumbsup:

And I'll be making a trip down there for the gathering, so he gets to meet the Meister as well. :thumbsup: :cheerleader::cheerleader::cheerleader:

But one of the main aspects of this prize though was to bring a member to their offices armed with questions that would be posed to the the staff, i.e. concerning daily operations, how and why things work, where the "take-down" switch is, etc. - as long as the questions don't venture into too sensitive need-to-know topics. :D

Anyway, we thought it's be a good idea to start a thread for you to pose these questions. The trip is scheduled for the week of the 25th - the meet and greet is on the 26th, so please post your questions here in this thread before then. :thumbsup:
 
This is a really great prize, and one we all can benefit from.

I don't have any questions but I do have one wish.
I would like to see the Captain dressed up in his suit in his office :D

My only questions are related to their unusual fees:

Why do they charge players extra to deposit and withdrawal (when the vast majority of other casinos don't)?
Why can't they let players have at least 1 free deposit & withdrawal per month?
How many players do you think are put off by these seemingly unreasonable charges?

I played there once myself, at a cost of £10 for my 2 transactions - I wont play there again while these charges are still in place.

I remember when I started playing online. I had that romantic view of casinos almost in palaces, probably influenced of what I had seen in movies about real casinos. I couldn't really picture the reality.

Now I know and I've been visiting a few. What was interesting was to be told where they had their servers and who had access to them. Was it possible to manipulate the games?
Who had access to all our data? We hear stories of them getting stolen and sold.
How big is a normal sized casino, how many in staff, how many are playing at the same time? That's the kind of questions I think most people want to know.

Take these questions with you Nikantw and I hope people here take their chance to ask a few more.

I always presume they are only very rarest of hot girls, scantily dressed or straight up nekkid, that get excited as soon as i open my mouth! And even when my live chat request is answered by "Nick" or "Mark", i still think it, and presume they use aliases so they know they won't be sexually harassed by the likes of dunover or spintee... :D (joke ofc. fellas)

Without joking, i must say i rarely ever think about that Jon, i go by what they are typing and how, which is often the only thing that matters:) But then again also enough to go by to get a good idea of wherever they are and what their surroundings look like ^.^

I have had two big wins on Jack and the Beanstalk interrupted by connection error messages. One was with about £350 already racked up with harps showing and 5 free spins left. Upon re entering the game the game was over with just an extra £50 added to the winnings of the free spins. The other resumed where it stopped without any further big win.
Another time recently I was was in JATBS bonus round when I got the error message just before achieving the 9 keys. When re entering I proceeded to win very little from the bonus. I have also witnessed the same type of thing happen on other folks winning video's in JATBS. It can not be simple coincidence
 
Very strange indeed, more so when I tell you this...

The ONLY disconnection/game error that did not correctly resolve itself (over 14 years I may add!!!) when I logged back in and opened the game back was.....

Was a year or more ago @ Guts, even Rep/CS couldn't help me as the 'fault' seemed to not show their end. I 'let it go' as it was low stakes and probably didn't lose much, plus Guts were always good to me (still are lol)
 

I presume that the problem with JATBS is that the harps in bonus spins could potentially produce mega mega wins unless they have a built in capping system. I have seen large win videos on youtube that have been interrupted by an error a number of times as well as my own experiences. It almost makes me lose faith in online gaming.
And CS told me that they could not detect a fault at their end either.
 
Yeah those Harps can produce the wins we all dream of lol. Will be limited by the general programming and TRTP of the game tho I would have thought.

My error IIRC was slightly different tho. During base game/normal spins a Walking Wild dropped on either reel 4 or 5 and as it 'walked' and the reels re-spun, it dropped another 2 wilds in to the right of it.

I knew at this point (think it was a 0.40p bet) that as they moved to the left I'd be guaranteed a few little wins for 4 spins at least I'd have 2 or more wilds thus generating wins.

It was as the 3 wilds went to move left, it totally froze, upon reload no sign of any wilds at all!!

CS saw no error their end, but I also had no screen shots that day to prove the fault.
 

I had and have pictures of the win and the freeze out but I was not at an accredited casino so I was grateful to simply get the winnings without asking too many questions

yeah mate or contact support. I received bit goodies as they could see my rewards like u been SH... !!!

At least I can see they have started sending out emails once and awhile where they give something extra. I think they realize lot of players get shafted.

Oh by the way I never really checked so this is also directed to Rizk Rep here. How come the reward bar only add up the same no matter what betting level you are at? And I was doing spins yesterday regarding your UK promo with double speed and i still only went up like 0.82 percent a spin. Did not matter if betting 0.50 or £2 on Breakaway slot which is really disappointing.

Also When I did starburst at only 0.10 bet it went up almost 1 percent or bit more???? :mad::what:
 

They could add more super spin and mega spin symbols to the wheel and make it fairer for those betting higher.

But you don't always bet the same amount to fill a bar to get the wheel.

Maybe they couldn't/can't get that fix to work.

Super Spins and Mega Spins appear more often the bigger your average bet between levels. It is a case of Rizk and Reward...


We completely and utterly refute that "players are being shafted".

Little moan from CR but I am sure that you dont really believe that but please choose your phraseology a little better in future.

Furthermore you are correct that it doesn't matter if you bet 0.50 or £2, the power bar will move at the same speed - what would change is the prizes on the WoR which will be inline with your average bet for that level.

Please can you PM me details and times for when the powerbar went up by over 1% on a £0.10 spin? Unless there was a double speed promo active we have never sen or heard of this before and certainly need to look into it.

Hi Lookaway, this is entirely intentional and as above, is aimed at making each level a consistent length and regular. Our decision was to reward our players regularly rather than making them wait for a week or more to get any rewards.

Further update on the WoR and planned functionality will be released during the visit of Bryan and NikantW to the Rizk office.
 

You need to understand what I ment with being "shafted" was by the wheel!! which is what lot of players thinks when they only get 5 spins on starburst. I don't see anything wrong in stating that? I did not say that Rizk is a ripoff or that you are shafting players. Maybe I should used a smiley. But as you read in my post I was also being positive and stating it was good you do bit extra for players now :thumbsup:

I don't see anything wrong in my phraseology and do not need a rep telling me :p

In regards to the powerbar. I do not have exact time but there was nothing stating breakaway slot was activated for double speed, but I checked how much on starburst and it did go up almost 1%. But its okay I guess could also be a glitch. I will try contact in pm when I get chance.

PS what is CR? and also is Refute=Refuse?
 
Just wanted to put a quick sorry as I can see now after reading my old posts through that I should not had used the word "shafted" and I also sounded bit harsh in my posts so wanted to say sorry to Mr Captain Rizk and anyone else who felt my posts were bit off. I have been proper explained and had nice email explaining bit more how it works. As it is your average bet which decided the prizes and chances to win something on the wheel. And that makes perfectly sense. :thumbsup:

I just feel if I can choose between the wheel and getting a 15% vip cashback every week at a different casino then I think I will choose that instead. But no matter what it was an interesting thing Rizk come up with here and they seem very good and in Guts Class. So I will surely still have a deposit in future and can only recommend others to sign up if not already at Rizk. :)

Refute is to prove someone of something as wrong, or contradict an accusation. In the above guess, I'm guessing the latter..'to deny an accusation'

I know, I think the bar is a bit whack sometimes too actually. And worst, mine always seems to play up if I claim an hour of power for the supercharged time... Suddenly nothing loads or games won't open and I spend half my time logging in and out or clearing the cache to really even try and worry about getting full advantage of the speed-up:eek2:

But in general, I am probably imagining LOL but I reckon it differs all the time between levels and yep, big or small bets don't seem to phase it. It's as if some levels seem to take forever and forever to make progress on after ages of gameplay and others it's like you play a game for a bit, get bored and close it-then suddenly ya got 4 WoR Spins in ya Rewards box:what:
 
Back to the questions, I will be there and will pose several questions concerning how ID docs are dealt with, specifically how they handle the UKers who don't bother with passports and how age verification is verified. After my visit to the States, this is a huge worry from the licensed casinos there - if just one minor slips through they are toast, and there has to be a better set up for age verification that what they all ready have (in he States).

I'm really looking forward to the trip - especially the food. I'm getting hungry already. :D Please bear in mind I'm a pescatarian. :p

Nope, just say Hi to Tim for me. I've been trading a lot of E-Mails with him recently and tested Rizk in-and-out. It's already a fantastic casino and they're working on SO MANY improvements. They're so open to player comments and there's really nothing negative to say about them. Its my favorite casino (besides Videoslots).

What a great trip - thanks guys, and it was a pleasure meeting nikantw and his brother. I'm sure they had a fantastic time as well. :thumbsup:

I'll be doing a bit of a write-up on the entire experience - hope to be done with that in the next day or two. It was a very informative trip - and I have to say that the main offices of Guts and GIG are probably the nicest I've seen. And I've been to a lot of casino offices. :p

But more importantly, their entire operation (Rizk, Guts, Betspin), and Tim, Yits, and everyone we met were highly knowledgeable and dedicated to a real philosophical code of ethics that permeates their entire business. Thanks guys - more on this later.

Withdrawal

Hi! First post- long time lurker, so hello all :)

I had the following conversation with a member of rizk support following an attempted withdrawal to neteller. A bit of background first of all- I have made several successful deposits via my card, but no withdrawals. I requested a withdrawal to my visa card today, and then followed with another deposit via neteller before continuing play.

I attempted a withdrawal to neteller immediately after. Upon checking my account around an hour ago, this attempted withdrawal had been returned to my casino account. The following conversation ensued:

If there are some terms regarding deposit methods and wagering before withdrawal, that's fine. However, I was slightly perturbed that support informed me 'our payment department would like you to withdraw back to same method', rather than referring to any specific clause in the t&cs!

If a representative from Rizk could clarify this for me it would be appreciated :)
 

Hi and welcome to CM.

A few things:

- as a long time lurker you will know that for accredited casinos we have casino reps here at CM who can assist in most cases. For Rizk we have Captain Rizk. You can send him a PM and he will surely answer in a timely manner
- "return to deposit method" is part of the AML regulations. Some casinos are more rigid than others but basically they have to pay back to the mehod you used most.
