Pledoo Casino Review
Great variety of games and payment methods
Casinomeister's Verdict
Pledoo has been around the block for a while, having launched all the way back in 2019. When we reviewed the casino, we found some definite strong points: a great selection of payment methods (30+ if we include all supported cryptocurrencies), a solid library of games from roughly 60 providers, and a clean user interface.
The biggest issues were mostly the absurdly high wagering requirements on most bonuses (going as high as 60 times the bonus and deposit amount) and a needlessly restrictive yearly withdrawal limit of €150,000 per year that also applies to jackpot wins.
Ultimately, while their complaints policy is questionable, we found that Pledoo has been fairly responsive to player issues over the years, but be ready to complain if you run into delayed withdrawals or KYC roadblocks. Remember you can always voice your concerns in our forum or submit a complaint through the Player Arbitration Service.
For now, Pledoo gets a tentative thumbs up. See our full Pledoo casino review below for more info.
30+ deposit methods, including crypto
From the Desk of Max Drayman
We’ve found no problems with Pledoo other than a few grumbles about slow-pay issues, so there are no huge warning signs here. Their Curaçao license is ok, so no major issues there either.
The Complaints procedure, though, is a little bit worrisome: “The Customer can contact cо[email protected] if the Customer isn’t satisfied with the resolution offered by Pledoo and wishes to file a further complaint and/or dispute.” Gaminglicenses.com is not a registered ADR, there is no explanation of who they might be or what authority they have, and the gaminglicenses.com site itself is nothing but a generic placeholder. All in all it’s not a good look.
The best that can be said here is that there is no reason to believe these guys are terrible BUT if you have problems you may find yourself pretty frustrated and feeling over-much like you are chasing your own tail.
Pros
-
Good selection of slots and live games
-
Tons of payment options
-
Responsive 24/7 live chat
Cons
-
Ridiculous wagering requirements for the welcome bonus
-
Yearly withdrawal limit with no exceptions for jackpots
Pledoo Casino Bonuses and Promotions
While Pledoo doesn’t have any jaw-dropping lineup of casino bonuses, the selection is still decent. The terms can vary a lot, though — for example, table games contribute as much as 50% to the bonus wagering requirements, though all slots with a RTP above 97.5% are excluded from wagering entirely. And speaking of wagering requirements, they’re set at 45x the bonus amount by default, so neither here nor there.
The welcome package is a conspicuous exception, as you have to wager your deposit and bonus 35 times. With a 100% deposit match, it effectively means you have to wager the bonus 70 times, which is absurd, and it goes even higher with some offers. Needless to say, there are many better welcome bonuses out there.
Keep in mind that bonus terms often change, so always read them for yourself if you’re thinking about claiming any bonus offers at Pledoo.
VIP and Loyalty Programs
Pledoo has a fairly straightforward loyalty program — there’s a prominent point tracker right under your profile in the side bar. You get “Pledoo Points” simply by placing bets, and these count towards milestone rewards but can also be exchanged for bonus cash or free spins.
You get 10 points per 1 EUR wagered, so it’s easy to calculate how much you need to wager in order to progress and how much bonus money you can get by exchanging points. Our only real issue here is that most of the milestones are kept secret until you get to them, so it makes it harder to judge the overall value this program offers.
Overall, this kind of setup is a notch above the usual “give us money and trust us” approach that many casinos like to practice, but still not ideal. So, as we usually say with these dubious reward programs: it’s nice to have, but don’t put too much stock in it.
Banking & Payment Methods
When you add up all the fiat and crypto options, Pledoo features over 30 payment methods. You’ll find the usual debit cards, bank transfers, a bunch of e-wallets and digital banking apps, prepaid vouchers, Bitcoin, and several altcoins — overall, the selection could hardly be better.
Withdrawals are also fairly quick, as most cashout requests are processed within 24 hours (at least on paper), with the usual exception for debit cards and bank transfers, which can take a few days. We were mostly disappointed with the withdrawal limits:
- €3,000 per day,
- €10,000 per week,
- €30,000 per month, and
- €150,000 per year.
These would actually be solid if it weren’t for that yearly limit. You don’t see a yearly limit every day, and it can be extremely inconvenient for high rollers and fans of jackpots. According to support, the casino does not make exceptions for jackpot wins, so we can see headaches arising from that.
You’ll need to verify your account before withdrawing money, and you can do so easily through your account page. You need to submit a proof of ID, proof of address, and a selfie. They may also request additional source of funds verification for players whose lifetime withdrawals surpass 2000 EUR, so remember that too. We advise taking care of KYC before depositing, as verification issues seem fairly common at this casino.
Responsible Gambling
Pledoo takes a surprisingly decent approach to responsible gambling. The dedicated page consists of unsightly blocks of text, though it still outlines some basic information new players should know. It’s hardly a top-notch learning resource though.
We were mainly happy to see the casino offers more flexibility in terms of tools. Namely, there’s the mandatory self-exclusion, but they also offer short-term cool-off periods. It may seem like a minor thing, but when so many offshore casinos are content to just go with the bare minimum required by their license, any step above that is an extra point.
Customer Support at Pledoo
Pledoo offers customer support via the usual channels: email and live chat. Our experience with them was positive, as the team was available 24/7 and we were always instantly connected to an agent — no bots or wait times.
We reached out several times with some standard “new player questions” to see how they fare in practice, and we didn’t run into any issues. Agents responded fairly quickly, and we always got accurate information, so all good on this front.
There’s also an FAQ section for quick answers, and it does have some useful information. It’s not exactly a comprehensive resource, but it’s still leagues better than what some other casinos offer, so another thumbs up for that.
Pledoo Casino Experience and Features
With so many casinos that try to stand out with gimmicky themes and punny names, it’s refreshing to see something like Pledoo — simple, straightforward gibberish. There’s basically nothing memorable about it, but the site is bright, clean, and easy to navigate, and we love seeing that.
The overall user experience is decent, as there’s very little fluff or clutter — navigational side bar, simple search, mostly clear-cut categories, clean and skimmable UI. As usual, we prefer it when online casinos have more complex search and filtering options, but that’s hardly the norm. If you’re fine with that and with a more “sterile” design, you likely won’t find anything to complain about here.
The experience isn’t much different on mobile either, as the interface is scaled quite well for a smaller screen. It’s a different coat of paint albeit without many substantial mobile-focused features, so it’s the usual case of “gets the job done, but nothing spectacular.”
Brand games
Pledoo Casino Game Providers
Pledoo features about 60 casino game providers, which is a bit limited compared to many competitors licensed in Curacao, as you may have seen from our other casino reviews. As usual, there’s plenty of recognizable names here: Pragmatic, Amusnet, 3 Oaks, BGaming, Hacksaw, and many others. You won’t be spoiled for choice or quality.
Pledoo Slots
With thousands of slots on offer, we were happy to see Pledoo put some effort into actually organizing their games. There are subcategories for megaways, bonus buys, and Drops & Wins, and even some extra subcategories based on themes (Egypt, Pirates, St. Patrick’s Day, etc.).
Slots can be filtered either by these categories or by provider, which is not spectacular but still better than just throwing it all into “Slots” and calling it a day, like many competitors do.
Live Casino
Those who prefer live games won’t be disappointed either, as Pledoo has a great variety of live rooms from several studios. This includes the ubiquitous Pragmatic Play Live and Evolution, but also smaller providers like Ezugi and SA Gaming.
You can easily browse rooms for blackjack, baccarat, roulette, and roulette via premade categories. Oddly enough, there’s no special category for game shows nor a catch-all section for more niche live games, which is a shame.
About the Pledoo Team and History
Pledoo is one of two casinos operated by Momus2006 N.V., the other being Bet It All. The site launched in 2021, so it’s been around for a while.
Currently, the operator holds a Curacao GCB license (OGL/2024/550/0264), which is quite low on the iGaming jurisdiction totem pole but we’d be more concerned if the casino was brand new. After almost 5 years in the market, we’d say they had more than enough time to establish themselves as a legitimate casino — despite the apparent flaws.
Complaints and Track Record
There are no big issues concerning Pledoo in our PAB service, and given that the casino has been around for over half a decade now, that’s a good sign. There were some concerns about slow payouts in the forums, but nothing really alarming.
We checked other complaints resolution services, and things looked good, despite Pledoo’s lacking complaints policy. The casino accumulated its fair share of complaints over the years, but it was mostly routine stuff such as delayed withdrawals and KYC hassle, without a single instance of an unresolved complaint that we could find.
We can’t recommend them with 100% certainty since they’re not an Accredited casino, but the chances are slim that they’d randomly turn rogue at this point. The best we can say is — if you run into an issue, submit a complaint, and be persistent.
