CASINOMEISTER'S VERDICT

6.7 Our Rating

Big Shot Games is a fun sweepstakes casino that launched in the winter of 2025.

As is often the case with newer casinos, Big Shot Games has clearly made a big effort to get new players through the virtual door with its deep range of promotions, starting with a simple-to-claim no-deposit bonus.

However, at times, we felt the platform was still developing. The selection of games is decent, but it doesn’t compete with the top sweepstakes casinos out there just yet. It’s a similar story with the purchase and redemption process: it’s not bad, but it doesn’t offer the same flexibility as some casinos, with only bank cards and transfers supported for now.

Pros

  • Lots of valuable and original promotions

  • Unique virtual sports games

  • Good welcome bonus of 15,000 GC and 3 SC

  • Distinctive design

  • Fast live chat support

Cons

  • Relatively small library of 500 games

  • Only bank cards for purchases

  • 100 SC redemption minimum, even for gift cards

Big Shot Games Casino Overview

If we had to sum up our professional opinion of Big Shot Games in just one sentence it would be: good but with the potential to be great.

The library of games is a good example of this. With just 500 games in total, that’s definitely on the smaller side for a modern sweepstakes casino. In contrast, top competitors like WOW Vegas have over 2,000 titles. Big Shot Games is also lacking table and live dealer games, which is its biggest weakness in terms of games.

Yet at the same time, the 25 top software providers offer an impressive level of variety, meaning the library feels rich and interesting. We also loved the virtual sports section, which is a pretty rare find at sweepstakes casinos.

Our favorite thing about this casino is the promotions. Things start off strong with a no deposit bonus worth 15,000 GC and 3 SC, only fully credited after you sign up, complete your profile and verify your phone number. The whole process took us around five minutes.

Ongoing promos are even better. Most casinos have a standard daily login bonus, but Big Shot Games has three:

  • The Daily Treatbox is a simple click-to-claim bonus that starts at 0.10 SC
  • The Fortune Trail is a missions-style path that hands out GC every day
  • The Wheel of Fortune hands out a random amount of SC every day, provided you have made a purchase

Big Shot Games even has its own second promotional currency, known as Bones, which ties in nicely with the cartoon dog theme of the casino. You accumulate Bones as you play, and they can then be used in the Store to buy GC, SC, or even real-world prizes like AirPods or an Xbox.

The best compliment we can give the bonuses at Big Shot Games — apart from being genuinely creative and original — is that we never felt pressured to spend money on GC/free SC packages.

How Does Big Shot Games Casino Work?

Big Shot Games is a free-to-play social casino, which also lets you play in sweepstakes mode. Instead of depositing money and using it to bet on games, you use two types of virtual currency to play, both of which you can get totally free.

Gold Coins are the basic currency and are used exclusively for playing games. They can’t be withdrawn or redeemed for prizes, but you can buy more GC if you want.

Sweeps Coins are the promotional currency you need to use for the chance to redeem sweepstakes prizes. They can’t be purchased, only received as a free bonus with GC purchases. You can redeem the SC you win through playing games for prizes. 100 SC is the minimum required to request either a $100 cash transfer or a gift card of the same value.

The model means that Big Shot Games doesn’t need a gambling license and is free to accept players from 40 states, many of which don’t allow traditional real-money online gambling.

Big Shot Games Casino Games

It’s a bit of a mixed bag with the game lineup at Big Shot Games, but based on what we’ve seen so far, we’re optimistic they’ll improve.

In total, we counted just under 500 games. Most of them are slots, but there are also a handful of instant-win games. The biggest standout here is virtual sports games, including Virtual Golf, Football League, and Greyhound Streak. Not something we usually see at sweeps casinos.

This is a great example of Big Shot Games’ willingness to do things differently, and we’re taking it as a positive sign for how the game library will develop over time.

On the downside, we were disappointed to find no table games and no live casino at Big Shot Games. These types of games are pretty par for the course, so it’s a big miss from the experience we’re used to. If you’re only interested in slots, it won’t matter much, but anyone used to a more wide-ranging gaming experience will miss them for sure.

As for slots, the variety is good despite the overall small number of around 460 games. Classic 3-reel slots, Megaways games, Hold & Wins, Bonus Buys — all of these mechanics and more are available here.

For now, we’re giving Big Shot Games a good sweepstakes casino rating as an entry-level platform, and the virtual sports offer something different. However, there is room for improvement for sure.

Big Shot Games Casino Software Providers

We were pleasantly surprised with the selection of software providers at Big Shot Games. Given the small library, the casino could easily just rely on two or three major providers to power the entire site.

Instead, Big Shot Games has pushed the boat out to include 25 high-quality software providers. It means the selection of games never feels dull or repetitive despite its relatively small size, with lots of variety in theme, mechanics, style, and more.

Here are some of the providers we saw:

  • Relax Gaming
  • BetSoft
  • Habanero
  • Playson
  • 3 Oaks Gaming
  • G.Games
  • Realistic Games
  • Revolver Gaming
  • Dragon Gaming

Big Shot Games Casino Banking Options

You don’t need to spend money to play at Big Shot Games. In fact, this is one of the best casinos we’ve reviewed for providing a steady stream of free GC and SC through ongoing promotions. We always felt like we had enough of both to keep playing, with no pressure to reach for our wallet.

The only reason we would recommend buying extra GC is if you really want to boost your stash of free bonus SC, which is always an option.

Banking is one of those areas where it is apparent that Big Shot Games is still developing. For now, you can only buy GC using bank cards, with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover all supported.

It’s a disappointing selection, though, with no alternatives like e-wallets or crypto, which are becoming more and more popular at sweepstakes casinos.

Our purchases were very smooth using our Visa card, but we’d still prefer more flexibility. The GC packages start at $9.99, which is higher than normal, and go up to $499.99. Each one comes with some free bonus SC.

Prize redemptions become available once you have won at least 100 SC and can be sent either as a cash transfer or a gift card. Usually, gift cards are available at lower prices (like at McLuck, where you can get a $10 gift card for 10 SC), but it’s the same for both here.

When we tested both methods, a gift card arrived much quicker than a cash transfer to our bank: 24 hours vs four days.

Overall, both purchases and redemptions were very smooth for us. That said, there is room for more payment methods and lower redemption limits, which would make Big Shot Games even more user-friendly.

Is Big Shot Games Casino Safe?

Yes, although it’s still a fairly new sweepstakes casino, we’re happy to give Big Shot Games a good rating for security for the time being. During our review, we found a number of green flags that indicate it’s a safe place to play.

Big Shot Games is one of the relatively few social casinos owned by a US-based company, Big Shot Games Interactive, which is located in Minnesota. The games come from legit software providers with combined decades of experience in the industry, and a reputation for creating fair RNG games.

The casino uses 256-bit encryption to protect the personal data stored on the site. Although you can sign up with just basic information, you’ll need to complete full KYC verification before you can redeem prizes, which is a legal requirement for legit sweepstakes casinos.

Big Shot Games also does a decent job with responsible gaming. There is a dedicated page that includes basic tips and resources, and explains how to set up purchase limits and cool-off or self-exclusion breaks. That said, it could be more detailed in our opinion, and could include features like session reminders.

Legal Status of Big Shot Games Casino

Big Shot Games is a legal social casino that follows sweepstakes regulations for how it allows you to redeem prizes.

Unlike a real money casino, you can’t use money to bet on games. In fact, you can’t even deposit money into your Big Shot Games account. Instead, everything is done through GC (which you can buy) or SC (which you can’t).

The cash you can redeem is legally considered a sweepstakes prize, not gambling winnings. For this reason, Big Shot Games doesn’t have a gambling license and is legal in 39 states in the US.

Big Shot Games Casino Customer Support

Big Shot Games provides simple and effective customer support through either live chat or email. We tested both and had a positive experience, but live chat is our favorite.

Unlike many casinos, there is no chatbot when you first open the live chat box. Instead, you are connected instantly with a real person, which saves time. The agents we spoke to were polite and direct, answering all our questions perfectly.

We had a similar depth of response from email, but the conversation was drawn out over a couple of days due to longer response times.

Big Shot Games also has an FAQ section, but it’s pretty bare bones at the moment. Hopefully, this gets expanded going forward, but live chat more than does the job for us.

Big Shot Games Casino Review Summary

We had a lot of fun getting to know Big Shot Games for this sweepstakes review. We spread out our time on the site over two weeks to make sure we got a comprehensive feel for everything on offer. We found that the casino really stands out in a couple of areas, but has some room to keep growing, too.

Let’s recap our positive impressions.

The ongoing promotions were a real highlight: the ideal combination of both creative and original, while also genuinely adding value to the playing experience. Having three separate daily login bonuses is above and beyond what we usually receive. It always felt like more GC and SC were just around the corner, without needing to spend money on GC.

We also want to shout out the fun selection of virtual sports games, which we haven’t seen at many sweepstakes casinos.

As for improvements, there is definite room for the gaming menu to keep growing, starting with the addition of table games and live casino games. It’s a similar story with the banking options: we’d like to see more flexibility, with e-wallets like Skrill and crypto added for payments and redemptions.

Finally, we want to hear from you. Head over to our forums and share your thoughts on Big Shot Games, and check out what other real players think, too.
