We’re suckers for a well executed theme, and Gold Treasure is all about life on the high seas. The game lineup is focused on slots, though, and we were a little disappointed not to find any live games or anything that really stood out, like arcade games or specialties.

There is an excellent no deposit welcome bonus up for grabs, along with plenty of promotions for existing players, including the daily bonus wheel and Daily Missions.

But the 100 SC redemption minimum for sweepstakes prizes is definitely higher than it should be.

Gold Treasure Casino opened up in February 2025 without much of a public rollout, but it’s had enough time to reach our radar. It’s a sweepstakes casino so instead of betting real money on games, you’ll play them for free using either Gold Coins or Sweepstakes Coins.

The casino gets lots of things right. We got 100,000 GC and 3 free SC instantly after signing up, allowing us to play games with no delay. You can also claim one of two 100% first purchase boosts, the most generous of which promises 1,000,000 GC and 52 free SC for just $24.99.

However, we’re not fans of the site’s time limit on this bonus. You’ll have until midnight on the day you register to claim a discount, which feels like unnecessary pressure to us.

Gold Treasure’s progressive login bonus is the star of the show. You’ll spin the bonus wheel to win a max of 7,000 GC on Day 1. After signing into your account for seven days consecutively, you can spin the wheel for a chance to win 500,000 GC and 50 free SC. This resets every week. 

In terms of games, Gold Treasure has room to improve. You’ll find 290+ slots from reputable companies like Hacksaw, BGaming, and Playson. Unfortunately, there are no tables, live games, or specialties available. Daily Missions add a dose of excitement by unlocking GC and SC prizes when you play certain games, but the collection can feel stale. 

How Does Gold Treasure Casino Work? 

Gold Treasure is a sweepstakes casino, which means you can play games using GC and SC. GC and SC are both obtainable for free. This site doesn’t accept cash for wagering purposes, instead it relies on a dual-currency system to comply with sweepstakes regulations.

The variety of different types of slots is pretty solid. We used the search function to find 30 Hold & Win games and six Megaways with up to 200,701 winning paylines. It’s not possible to sort titles by software provider or theme aside from the two collections mentioned earlier, so the library feels a bit randomized when looking for things to do.

Overall, it’s a solid collection of slots but definitely not the largest or most diverse gaming library we’ve ever seen overall. If you’re a casual player looking for a good introduction, it’s a good choice. Most experienced players might be frustrated with the lack of variety, though.

You have to win 100 SC to redeem prizes via Skrill, which is a high minimum. On the bright side, Skrill redemptions are processed and delivered in 24-48 hours. 

Having opened in February 2025, Gold Treasure is still a fairly new sweepstakes casino, so it’s hard to say with 100% confidence whether it’s truly safe. Luckily, all the flags so far are green.

We had a blast playing games to complete Missions. Minus the time limit, we liked being able to choose from two first purchase boosts. 

However, Gold Treasure does have some weaknesses too. Unfortunately, game variety isn’t one of Gold Treasure’s strong suits. It has 294 slots with no tables, live games, or specialties to explore between spins. 

The 100 SC redemption minimum could also be slashed to 50 SC or even 10 SC for beginners, especially if the casino added gift card prizes. Overall, it gets a thumbs-up from us, but we can see clear paths to improve down the line, starting with a more interesting lineup of games.
