The range of slots is good, and we liked the different themed categories that LoneStar has created to help you explore. On the flipside, the variety is pretty poor once you get beyond slots, with no live games and no blackjack or roulette. The design of the site is nothing to write home about either, compared with the most modern sweepstakes casinos on the market.

LoneStar features around 500 games, almost all of them slots. The few additions include three video poker games and three scratch cards, but no live games and no classic table games. Although it’s not the largest selection we’ve seen, the range of software providers is good — 15 in total, including Booming Games and Nolimit City.

Once we signed up, we got 100,000 GC and 2.5 SC — no purchase required and no LoneStar promo code. We love the Daily Missions, where you can earn GC and SC rewards in exchange for completing simple tasks, like spinning a certain slot 15 times. LoneStar also hosts regular giveaways on Facebook, a solid referral program, and a well-defined VIP Program with new rewards at every tier. 

We also got 5,000 GC and 0.3 free SC every day as a login bonus, so we’re happy with the variety of promos at the casino. 

LoneStar is still a relatively new kid on the block, having been launched in March 2025. As such, it doesn’t have a reputation as well established as the likes of Chumba or McLuck, but the signs are promising so far.

How Does LoneStar Casino Work? 

LoneStar is a social casino that also lets you redeem sweepstakes prizes when you play using SC in promotional mode. 

All the games can be played using either Gold Coins or Sweep Coins, two virtual currencies that you can get through various free promotions. You don’t need to spend money at LoneStar, and you can’t make deposits and withdrawals from your account like you do at a real money casino.

LoneStar features 486 games, almost all of the slots. For this reason, it’s hard to recommend them to players hoping for a more well-rounded gaming experience. For casual slots fans, however, it’s great.

They’re big on the themed collections of slots, which makes browsing the lineup more convenient. Eternal Dust from Slotmill and 3 Hot Chilli Peppers from Reel Riot were two of our favorites, neither of which is a big name we recognized from other sites, but we found them through the collections section.

Still, browsing the game lineup can sometimes be slightly clunky. You need to scroll the menu bar manually by clicking the little arrows (rather than scrolling), which feels slow and frustrating. On the whole, we preferred playing using our cell phone, which feels smoother than the desktop site. 

Away from slots, it’s slim pickings. There is a Table Games section, but it contains only three video poker tables: Video Poker, Oasis Poker, and Texas Hold’em. We also found three instant-win scratch games, but nothing apart from that. 

We’d like to see LoneStar at least start building out its table game section with blackjack, roulette, and baccarat, and then consider adding live dealer games down the line, too.

Given its relatively small selection of games, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that LoneStar hosts games from 16 different software providers. The lineup includes big names like Relax Gaming, as well as lesser lights like Reel Riot and Jini Studios.

We’re happy with both the range of options and purchase methods. Plenty of sweepstakes casinos only accept bank cards, so it’s nice to be able to use Skrill too. Going forward, we’d like to see Apple Pay and GPay added, too.

Frustratingly, live chat support does become available when you reach the Gold VIP level. Or at least, something called “24/7 support” is unlocked. We never made it that far during the two weeks we spent on the site, so we can’t be sure how it works. Either way, we think all players deserve the same effective customer support, regardless of their VIP level. 

Other than that, LoneStar actually does a good job with explaining things to players via the Help Section, clear Promotional Play Terms and the Responsible Gaming doc. If they opened up live chat support to everyone, they’d get a top customer support casino rating from us.

After testing out LoneStar Casino for 14 hours straight, we can confidently say that it’s a decent place for casual players. 

Overall, it seems aimed at slots fans, with a balanced lineup from 16 top software providers. We loved the themed collections, which made the lineup much more interesting than if you were just scrolling aimlessly. Bonuses were another high point, with a solid no deposit welcome bonus of 100,000 GC and 2.5 SC, a consistent daily login bonus, social media giveaways, daily missions and more. If you don’t want to spend any money, LoneStar definitely gives you enough GC and SC bandwidth with free promos, which is important. 

Still, we did find some areas where this casino failed to live up to our expectations. Slots aside, the game lineup seems pretty dull. We’d also love to see the live chat support being available to all players, not just Gold VIPs.
