PeakPlay Casino
PeakPlay is a new sweepstakes casino with easy prize redemptions starting from just 50 SC
CASINOMEISTER'S VERDICT
Our PeakPlay review is exploring a unique sweepstakes platform that combines casino-style games with daily sports picks and contests. In the crowded sweepstakes market, it’s rare we find a site that offers something truly different, but that’s exactly what PeakPlay does.
Its lineup of casino games is relatively small at 278, but refreshingly diverse, with slots, crash games and tables. The daily “free contests”, where you have to make DFS-style picks on popular sports, are a huge plus for sports fans and not something we’ve seen integrated into other sweepstakes casinos. Unfortunately, the sports contests only pay out Gold Coin wins for now.
While undoubtedly interesting, it’s clear that PeakPlay is still a work in progress. The software and interface is pretty basic and we noticed some issues with some sections of the site not loading properly. There is also a definite lack of ongoing promotions, compared with the best sweepstakes casinos.
Pros
-
Diverse lineup of slots, crash and smash and table games
-
Unique daily sports contests for GC prizes
-
SC prizes from just 50 SC
-
Good responsible gambling tools
Cons
-
Lack of ongoing promotions
-
Interface isn’t very slick or modern
PeakPlay Casino Casino Facts
PeakPlay Casino Overview
PeakPlay doesn’t have a huge lineup of games, but it’s enjoyably quirky. There are under 300 in total, and the majority are slots. We were intrigued by some of the software providers, which include stalwarts like Relax Gaming but also companies we were less familiar with, like Peter & Sons. There are also 17 crash and smash games, which offer something out of the ordinary, and a couple of table games.
PeakPlay’s most unique feature is easily its free daily contests, which let you make picks on popular sports, including NFL, NBA, and UFC. The available sports seem to change all the time, similar to a sportsbook. For now, you can only win GC from these contests, but it would be great to see PeakPlay expand them for SC players too.
We got 10,000 Gold Coins and 2 free Sweeps Coins when we signed up and verified our email address, no PeakPlay promo code required. The entire process took us no more than three minutes, so you can jump into the action right away.
Unfortunately, things tail off dramatically after that from a promotional perspective. PeakPlay doesn’t have a daily login bonus, daily missions, or really any promotions that consistently give you free GC and SC. While it’s a requirement to play at the site, you can buy GC if you want, and receive some free bonus SC that way.
PeakPlay does provide a selection of 100% first purchase boosts for players when you spend $4.99, $9.99, or $19.99, respectively. We like that there are different options here.
How Does PeakPlay Casino Work?
PeakPlay is a sweepstakes casino, which also offers free sports picks inspired by DFS contests. Everything at the site can be played for free, with no requirement to spend any money. You can play games using either Gold Coins or Sweeps Coins.
Gold Coins are the basic currency at PeakPlay. They are used only for playing games and can’t be redeemed for prizes. You can buy more if you run out of your free supply.
Sweeps Coins are the promotional currency. When you win them through gameplay, you can redeem your SC for cash prizes, starting from 50 SC for $50. Sweeps Coins can’t be purchased, though, only received as a free bonus.
PeakPlay Casino Games
PeakPlay doesn’t have the largest selection of games we’ve ever reviewed, but it’s definitely interesting. In total, we found 278 games on the menu, the majority of which are slots.
For slot gaming, we’re chalking PeakPlay down as a good entry level sweeps casino for new sweepstakes players starting out in the industry. In terms of numbers, it pales in comparison to sites like WOW Vegas or Rolla Casino, both of which have thousands of slots from more than a dozen software providers.
We like how PeakPlay organizes its game selection, specifically how it breaks down the games into fun themed categories. Exploring sections like “Egyptian” or “Fantasy & Fairytale” is a lot more fun than simply scrolling through a long list of titles. There are sections for specific types of slots too, like “Hold & Spin”.
Some of our favorites slots were 3 Secret Cities from 4 The Player, and Reapers from Print Studios — neither of which we had come across before at other sweeps casinos.
Away from slots, PeakPlay has a surprisingly stacked selection of what it calls “crash and smash” games, basically crash games with some arcade-style specialties thrown in. Again, these are enjoyably diverse. 1000x Busta and Penalty Champion were two of our favorites.
Although not strictly casino games, we are big fans of the sports picks for GC prizes. They add an extra element to the PeakPlay experience that we haven’t found anywhere else, but we’d love them to expand to SC prizes too.
On the face of it, PeakPlay’s game lineup doesn’t sound too impressive, with just 278 games in total, with no live dealer games. But we actually loved the gaming experience, despite the smaller-than-average offer.
The slots are diverse and well organized, and the crash games and sports picks provide a refreshing change of pace.
PeakPlay Casino Software Providers
PeakPlay works with an eclectic selection of software providers, different from what we’re used to seeing at most sweepstakes casinos. The biggest name is probably Relax Gaming, and we were happy to see some classics like Shark Wash.
However, we had more fun exploring games and providers we didn’t have much experience with, such as 4ThePlayer, Peter & Sons and Atomic City. The diversity suits PeakPlay nicely.
PeakPlay Casino Banking Options
The games at PeakPlay are free to play. You’ll get both GC and SC for free as soon as you sign up, although the casino is admittedly lacking when it comes to ongoing promotions to keep your supply healthy.
You do have the option to purchase more GC if you want, and each purchase comes with some free bonus SC (except for the cheapest one).
PeakPlay lets you use Visa, Mastercard, bank transfers or Skrill for GC purchases. It’s a great selection of methods, providing both flexibility and convenience. The only thing we’d like to see added is cryptocurrency, which is possible at some sweepstakes casinos.
Check out the purchase options below:
- $1.00 – 2,000 GC and 0 free SC
- $4.99 – 10,000 GC and 5 free SC
- $9.99 – 20,000 GC and 10 free SC
- $19.99 – 40,000 GC and 20 free SC
- $49.99 – 100,000 GC and 50 free SC
- $99.99 – 200,000 GC and 100 free SC
- $249.99 – 500,000 GC and 250 free SC
- $499.99 – 1,000,000 GC and 500 free SC
- $999.99 – 2,000,000 GC and 1,000 free SC
All free bonus SC has 1x playthrough attached, which means you just need to use it once in gameplay before you can redeem prizes. PeakPlay lets you redeem cash prizes via Skrill or bank transfer starting from just 50 SC, which is lower than average. There are no gift card prizes on offer, however, which tend to come with even lower limits.
When we tested out the payment and redemption process at PeakPlay, everything went smoothly. Our Skrill prize came through 36 hours after our request was approved.
Is PeakPlay Casino Safe?
Yes, we’re happy that PeakPlay is a safe and secure sweepstakes casino. We were required to complete a KYC process before we were allowed to redeem prizes, which is legally required under sweepstakes regulations. The games come from legitimate providers who also provide games to real money online casinos and use certified RNG technology to ensure every game is fair.
PeakPlay has a Privacy Policy, but it was a little light on actual details about how it uses and protects player data. We’d like to see more transparency here.
On a brighter note, PeakPlay has some of the best responsible gaming tools we’ve seen, we’ve tons of information about how to play safely and tools that are easy to use without having to contact customer support. You’ll find them in your “Account” under “Responsible Gaming Player Controls”, and they include daily, weekly or monthly purchase limits, and the ability to take a temporary break for 24 or 48 hours, or a set number of weeks.

PeakPlay Casino Customer Support
We had a largely very positive experience with customer support at PeakPlay. The first thing we look for is live chat support, and we’re happy to say that it’s available at PeakPlay.
The response times were a little slower than we’d like, and we were sometimes waiting for 10 or 15 minutes to get connected with an agent. However, our interactions with the staff were very positive, and they were always able to answer our questions.
Alternatively, you can send an email to [email protected].
There is also an FAQ section which does a good job of explaining how PeakPlay works, with dozens of articles split up into ten different categories.
PeakPlay Casino Review Summary
PeakPlay kind of took us by surprise. On the surface, it doesn’t look that great, with a small lineup of 274 games and not the most impressive software we’ve ever seen. However, after spending a total of 14 hours getting to know this sweeps casino, we were very pleasantly surprised. We’re giving it a great rating, with some caveats included.
It’s true that the lineup of games is smaller than average, but the variety is great. The word we keep coming back to is “quirky”: interesting slots from lesser known providers, dozens of crash games and arcade games, even a game of Solitaire! Throw in the free GC sports picks and you’ve got a truly unique sweepstakes gaming experience.
Other highlights included the flexible banking methods and the 50 SC minimum for cash prize redemptions, along with the efficient live chat support.
All that said, PeakPlay clearly has some areas to work on. First and foremost, it is drastically short in terms of bonuses and promotions. We’d like to see a daily login bonus added at a minimum, along with other features like daily missions, slot tournaments or a VIP program. We also noticed some glitchy software at times, which took the shine off our experience a little.
The good news is that these are things that can easily be improved, and PeakPlay already has a lot of positive factors nailed down.
If you’ve played at PeakPlay already, we want to hear about it. Head over to our forums to share your experience and read what other people have to say too.
