From a design perspective, this is one of our favorite sweepstakes casinos on the market. The site is themed around a road trip across the US down Route 66, and everything from the logo to the promos is tailored to fit that theme. In particular, we loved the VIP program, with the different tiers represented by landmarks and cities you hit as you cruise along the iconic highway. 

From a gaming perspective, it’s true that Sixty6 is somewhat one-dimensional. The range of slots is excellent, but it’s missing table games and live dealer games. We also weren’t thrilled that you need to buy GC in order to get KYC verified, which in turn is required to redeem prizes.

Sixty6 Casino has close to 1,000 slots on the menu, and they come from a range of top software providers like Hacksaw Gaming and BetSoft. While slots fans will love the range of themes and mechanics, you’ll be disappointed if you’re looking for a more diverse selection overall. The VIP Program is impressive, with each tier represented by a different state and subtiers made up of landmarks and cities, and lots of benefits unlocked as you earn XP and progress.

As a relatively new casino, Sixty6 doesn’t have an established reputation in the industry yet. However, all the signs are good so far from a security perspective.

How Does Sixty6 Casino Work? 

Sixty6 is a social casino that also lets you play in sweepstakes mode. All of the games can be played for free, using either Gold Coins or Sweeps Coins, and you can’t use real money to play games on the site. 

You can get both GC and SC for free through various promotions, like the no deposit bonus and the Fortune Wheel. You can also buy extra GC if you want, and potentially receive some free SC as a bonus. However, you can’t purchase SC directly.

To sum it up in one sentence: Sixty6 Casino is ideal for slot players, but it’s not a good choice if you’re looking for anything else. 

We counted 937 games on the menu, all of which are slots. The good news is that within those 937 games, there is a huge amount of variety. We were happy to see separate sections dedicated to popular game mechanics, like Play the Feature, Hold’n’Link and Cascading Reels. 

The search tool is well designed, with both a search bar and a filtering system for different software providers. The Mystery Road Trip button, which spits out random slot suggestions to try, is a fun feature. We also liked how the Hot section shows you the games that are attracting the most action at any time.

However, one thing we didn’t love is that the side menu automatically closes when you click into a new section, so you essentially need to go back to the start every time you want to look for a new game. 

More importantly, there are no table games, no live casino, no exclusives, and no arcade games on the menu. If you’re looking for more diverse options, we’d recommend taking a look at some of our other sweepstakes casino reviews.

The payment options at Sixty6 could use some work, though. At the moment, you can use either Visa or Mastercard, or Apple Pay if you’re playing on your phone. 

While these options worked well, we’d like to see more payment methods added. Bank transfers and e-wallets like Skrill would both be welcome additions. If you like to use cryptocurrency, you should check out some other sweepstakes casinos, as it’s unlikely they’ll be added here any time soon.

To redeem your SC for prizes, you need to win at least 50 SC for a gift card, or 100 SC for a cash transfer that gets sent to your bank account. Before you can redeem prizes, you need to verify your identity. This only becomes available once you purchase GC, which effectively means you need to make a purchase before you can redeem prizes. 

Overall, we found both the purchase and redemption process smooth and beginner friendly. With more varied banking options, it would be even better.

The games at Sixty6 come from legitimate software providers that use trusted RNG technology to determine the results of every spin.
