However, we did find some areas that we thought StormRush could improve. While great for slots, the game library is undeniably one-dimensional, with no table games or live games. Also, KYC verification only becomes available when you buy GC, which means you can’t redeem prizes without spending some money first.

The flipside is that there is pretty much no game variety beyond this, so anyone hoping for a more classic casino experience, like blackjack or roulette tables, will be disappointed.

How Does StormRush Casino Work? 

StormRush is a sweepstakes casino where you can play casino-style games for free. In many cases, the slots at StormRush are the exact same games you can find at real money casinos. However, you can’t use real money to place bets. Instead, you’ll play games using free virtual currencies, called Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins. 

Gold Coins are only used for playing games. No matter how much you win, you can’t withdraw them or cash them in for prizes. If you run out, or if you want to boost your free supply, you can buy more.

Their slot library has pretty much everything you could want from slots in 2025, with a perfect mix of new and more established software providers, and a huge variety in terms of themes and game mechanics. 

StormRush also does a good job of presenting their games. It’s simple to filter by any of the 17 different software providers, and there are separate categories for certain types of slots, like Bonus Buy or Rapid Link features. However, we were disappointed to find the casino only offered slots. Some of our favorite sweepstakes casinos — like Jumbo88, for example — have started focusing on providing a more diverse experience, with table games, fishing games, arcade games and full live casinos.

StormRush has none of these, meaning you’re in for a pretty one-dimensional gaming experience. If you only play slots, this won’t bother you. But if you want variety, there are better options out there.

As for prizes, you need to win at least 25 SC to request a gift card, or 100 SC to request a cash transfer, via bank transfer or Push-to-Card. We tested both options and they worked perfectly: our gift card dropped into our email inbox after 48 hours, while the PayPal transfer came after four days.

Yes, we’re happy to give StormRush a good sweepstakes rating for player safety. Even though StormRush itself is relatively new, A1 Development has a solid history in the industry going back years, which is reassuring. 

The games at StormRush also come from big names in the world of iGaming, with their RNG independently tested for fairness. Play data is protected by SSL encryption and not shared with unauthorized third parties.

After spending more than 14 hours playing at StormRush, we can confirm that we are big fans of this sweepstakes casino.

We only have positive things to say about the payment and redemption process, with simple bank card or PayPal transactions and gift cards up for grabs from just 25 SC. We had positive experiences with the live chat customer support too, and were impressed with the easy-to-use responsible gaming tools. 

Really, the only reason we wouldn’t recommend StormRush is if you are specifically looking for live games, or classic table games like blackjack or roulette. Otherwise, it’s a homerun.
