The Win Zone features a small library of around 250 games that is only going to grow. For now, it is almost entirely made up of slots, save for a few instant win games like Plinko. There are no table games or live dealers, which immediately puts the Win Zone at a disadvantage compared to the more established social casinos. 

We’re big fans of the welcome bonus, though. The no deposit offer is simple to claim and provides 2,500 GC and 2.5 free SC right off the bat, which we found more than enough to jump straight into the action. Admittedly this is a smaller than average number of GC, but GC is pretty easy to come by in general so we prefer to maximize SC in the welcome offer — and 2.5 is above average. 

You can also choose between a number of first purchase bonuses, but we went for the $9.99 options which gave us a 150% boost for a total of 25,000 GC and 25 free SC. 

There are other promos that you can also pick up as a regular player. The daily login bonus is worth 300 GC + 0.25 SC and comes with 400 myVIP Tier Points too, which is a nice touch since loyalty points typically aren’t included. The Win Zone is also pretty active on Facebook and Instagram, providing both news updates and quizzes and giveaways where you can pick up extra GC and SC.

How Does Win Zone Casino Work? 

The Win Zone is a free-to-play social casino which also functions as a sweepstakes casino when you play in promotional mode. Instead of betting real money on the games, you use two types of free coins: Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins. 

Gold Coins are the social gaming currency. They are used for playing games at The Win Zone only, with no function outside of that. They can’t be withdrawn or cashed in for prizes, and you can buy more GC if you want. 

Sweeps Coins are the promotional currency. You can’t buy them, only receive them for free through various bonuses and promotions — including with GC purchases. After you’ve used your SC at least once to play games, you can redeem them for prizes including either cash transfers or gift cards.

The Win Zone isn’t a real money casino and doesn’t need to follow the same legal regulations as those types of platforms.

The Win Zone is still growing its game library. We counted around 250 games in total and almost all of them are slots. The only exception is a handful of instant win arcade games, like Plinko. This number is below average for a modern sweepstakes casino, where you will routinely find more than 1,000 titles.

The Win Zone is also lacking classic table games, like roulette or blackjack, and live dealer games. You’ll find these games at many top sweepstakes casinos, like Stake.us and WOW Vegas. The good news is that this does seem to be only the start for the Win Zone. 

For now, we’re happy to recommend the Win Zone if you’re new to the sweepstakes world or just want a smaller selection of high quality slots. A lot of creativity has gone into this selection, with games like Deck of Destiny and The Great Pigsby standing out for their original themes and imaginative design.

Sadly, the payment options at The Win Zone are fairly basic so far. You can choose between major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Amex or Discover, or a bank transfer. There is no option to use e-wallets (like Skrill or PayPal) or cryptocurrencies, which tend to be faster when it comes to prize withdrawals. 

Despite the limited options, we had no trouble buying GC using a Visa card. We just opened the coin store and chose to use our $9.99 first purchase bonus, typed in our card details and the coins were available in our account immediately.

Apart from the first purchase bonuses, regular GC packages start from $1.99 and go up to $99.99. 

As for prize redemptions, you have a couple of options. For cash prizes, you need to win at least 100 SC and you can have the prize pushed back to the debit card you originally used, or sent via ACH Transfer. Of the two options, we found push-to-card faster: it arrived in under 48 hours while we waited four days for a bank transfer.

Alternatively, you can request a gift card with 50 eligible SC, which gets sent to you via email. It’s nice to have both options. 

The Win Zone hasn’t really been around long enough to have a truly definitive answer on how safe it is, but we’re happy with all the signs for now. 

The games come from legitimate providers which have a much longer history in the iGaming industry, which is a big green flag. It means you know you are getting truly random, RNG-powered results in every spin. 

The site is protected by 256-bit encryption and the Privacy Policy doc which you can find at the bottom of the page goes into more detail about how the site collects and protects user data. The Win Zone is only available in 15 states for now, which is actually another green flag. It shows that the platform is taking its time in the industry and complying with regulations in each state, rather than launching in too many states right away. That said, we expect to see more states added as the site grows. 

There is also a Responsible Gaming section, but we found room for improvement here. Legal Status of Win Zone Casino

For this reason, The Win Zone does not have a gambling license and its games are not legally considered to be online gambling. It’s available to players in most US states, including many that don’t allow real money gambling.

We had a great experience with customer support, primarily through the live chat.
