ToraTora is a new sweepstakes casino that went live mid-2025, and our review covers everything you need to know about it. 

For now, although definitely promising, ToraTora still feels like something of a work in progress. We counted around 700 games in total, a decent number for sure but not up there with the top sweepstakes casinos just yet, like WOW Vegas, which has more than 2,400 games. We were most impressed with the 11 live dealer table from Evolution, but the bulk of the catalog is made up of slots. 

We’ll break down our entire experience with the site here, explaining what we like and what could be improved.

ToraTora includes just under 700 games, consisting mostly of slots but with 11 live dealer tables thrown in too. There are 10 software providers in total, all of which are big names in the industry, like NetEnt, Evolution, and Pragmatic Play. 

It means the games are consistently of very high quality, and the menu includes plenty of classics we’ve been playing for years, like Pragmatic’s Big Bass series for instance. The flipside is that, with no lesser known or up-and-coming providers, there aren’t a ton of new slots to try out. 

The no deposit welcome bonus is a good start to life at ToraTora. We got 10,000 GC and 1 SC after we signed up and verified our email and phone number, with no ToraTora promo code required. 

On the whole, we were happy with the frequency of promotions at this casino, which includes a randomized daily login bonus, a referral program and, best of all in our opinion, fun puzzles you can solve on social media to win free SC. 

ToraTora accepts players from 35 US states. You must be over the age of 21 to sign up, rather than 18 which is often the case at sweepstakes casinos. ToraTora is a pretty new sweepstakes casino and doesn’t have any sister sites. As such, it doesn’t have an established reputation in the industry yet.

How Does ToraTora Casino Work? 

ToraTora is not a traditional online casino, and you can’t use real money to play games. It’s a social casino, which means you can play all the games for free using two types of virtual currency. 

Gold Coins are the basic currency at ToraTora. Using them is like using play money. GC have no value and can’t be exchanged for prizes, no matter how many you win or lose. 

Sweeps Coins are the promotional currency, used when you want to play in sweepstakes mode. You can redeem the SC you win through games for prizes, including both gift cards and cash prizes. 

You’ll get both GC and SC right away when you sign up, and through various ongoing promotions, totally free. GC can also be purchased, although it’s not compulsory. SC can never be purchased, but you often get some as a free bonus when you buy GC. 

ToraTora has a good menu of just under 700 games from an impressive selection of top class software providers. In terms of slots, we saw lots of classics like Starburst, Gonzo’s Quest and Big Bass Bonanza, plus new releases from Red Tiger and BGaming. 

Sadly, the selection is let down somewhat by how it’s presented. Right now, there are just four categories in the menu: All Games, Hot Games, Slots and Other — and the Other section is inexplicably empty. The search bar wasn’t working when we tested the casino, so there are definitely some growing pains going on.

At first glance, you could easily miss the fact that ToraTora actually has live games too, with 11 high quality games from Evolution. The best way to view them is to use the software provider filtering tool and search by Evolution. Still, ToraTora urgently needs a more accessible Live Casino section in the game menu. 

Organizational issues aside, the good news is that ToraTora has a very high quality selection of games.

We’re happy with the banking experience at ToraTora. Buying GC is very simple and we appreciate the player-friendly 50 SC minimum for cash prizes and gift cards.

All bonus SC comes with 1x playthrough before it can be redeemed for prizes. After we won enough SC, we tested both gift card and cash prize redemptions. The former arrived in our email inbox the following day, while we got a $55 bank transfer four days after we requested it.

It’s still early days, so we don’t want to be too definitive yet, but we’re happy to give ToraTora a good safety casino rating. Here’s what we like about the casino from a security perspective.

You need to get KYC verified before you are able to redeem prizes. This is a legal requirement for all legit sweepstakes casinos, and it’s a good sign that they don’t try to snake their way around it.

We are also big fans of how transparent ToraTora is with its responsible gaming section. Often, this info is buried at the very bottom of the page, but here, it is prominently displayed in the main menu, unmissable as you play. 

The information presented is also comprehensive, including practical tips for staying in control, links to external support companies like Gaming Addicts Anonymous, and time-out and self-exclusion tools. 

Legal Status of ToraTora Casino 

ToraTora is not a real money casino and the games you play are not legally considered to be gambling. For this reason, it doesn’t need a gambling license in the same way as traditional online casinos. 

Instead, it’s a social casino where you can play casino-style games for free. When you use SC, you play in sweepstakes mode with the chance to redeem prizes.

ToraTora’s customer support could use some work. Along with the design of the gaming menu, this was another area where we noticed the platform still seems unfinished. 

Although there is a live chat button, it isn’t 24/7 and we couldn’t find any information about its operating times. A couple of times we got replies within a few minutes, but sometimes our question went unanswered and we had to wait for a reply via email the following day. There is an FAQ page too, but it contains only five articles. 

Overall, the bones of good customer support are in place. Hopefully, live chat becomes more responsive and the FAQ section improves as ToraTora grows.

We spent more than 14 hours over the course of two weeks exploring everything there is to know about ToraTora. Our conclusion? A good start but with more to do. 

Let’s recap what we liked first.

We had a very positive experience with GC purchases and SC redemptions. We like the low 50 SC limit and the flexibility of choosing gift cards or cash. It’s nice to have the option of Skrill, although we don’t like that it’s only available for large transactions.

ToraTora ticks a lot of boxes with its promotions, including a solid no deposit welcome bonus, a first purchase bonus, free GC and SC every single day through the login bonus, and fun social media competitions. If you don’t want to spend money, these offers will keep your balance fairly well stocked. 

However, ToraTora definitely has room to improve. The selection of games is actually very good, including some excellent live casino games, but it’s undermined by how the menu is presented. The search bar doesn’t work and the menu is severely lacking in different categories or sections. It’s hard to really appreciate the games and we hope ToraTora irons out these issues soon.
