Vegasway is a glitzy new sweepstakes casino inspired by the neon lights of Sin City. Once you open up their website, you’ll see a lot going on on-screen, with different sections of the site to explore, but not in a way that feels overwhelming. 

We got 350,000 GC and 2 free SC after signing up, more than competitive with other top sweepstakes sites. We counted just over 1100 games (impressive for a new sweeps casino), consisting mostly of slots, but with some live dealer games scattered around, too. 

At some points while working on this Vegasway review, it felt like the casino was still finding its feet. For example, we could only use bank cards to buy GC, which is limited compared to other casinos.

Vegasway has come out of the blocks hot. For a relatively new sweepstakes casino, the total of more than 1100 games is very impressive. The variety is great too, covering slots, live tables, and interesting arcade games, all from a selection of top software providers.

The number of bonuses stood out to us, too. The welcome bonus is a strong start, with 350,000 GC and 2 free SC credited to our account right away after we signed up and verified our email address. Also included in the welcome package is your choice of three first purchase bonuses, with the best value one providing 750,000 GC and 40 SC for $24.99.

After that, regular players can claim multiple daily bonuses to keep their account topped up with free GC and SC. The Vegas Route is an 11-day login bonus where you drive across the city, collecting coins as you go. The Treasure Flip game lets you flip over tiles to receive a random prize of either GC or SC underneath, but if you flip a bomb, the game ends and isn’t available for another 12 hours.

You can also climb through the ranks in the Prestige Club for more bonuses, like Coinback, which starts at Bronze level, and get boosts on your first eight purchases thanks to the Vegas nitro promo. 

There really is a lot going on, and we love how the chic sports car theme is incorporated into all the offers.  

How Does Vegasway Casino Work? 

Vegasway is a sweepstakes casino, different from a traditional real money casino. You can’t bet real-money on the games or deposit or withdraw real money from your Vegasway account. 

Instead, you use two types of free virtual currency to play games: Gold Coins or Super Coins.

Using Gold Coins is like playing with fun money. They have no value and you can’t withdraw them or cash them in for prizes. They are easy to get for free, but you can also buy more if you want.

Super Coins are the currency you need to use if you want to redeem prizes. You can’t buy them, only get them through free promotions. The ability to redeem prizes only becomes available once you complete KYC verification, which in turn is only possible when you buy GC. Prizes start from 25 SC for a gift card worth $25, or 100 SC for a $100 cash prize.

This model means that Vegasway is far more widely available than regular real money casinos, which are still legal in just a handful of US states. 

We counted a total of 1107 games at Vegasway, which is above average for a sweepstakes casino and especially impressive for a platform that has only recently launched. We loved the variety on offer too, although the presentation of the games could be improved.

As usual, slots dominate the menu, with more than 1000 games from 16 excellent software providers. There is a huge range here, in terms of different minimum play levels, specific mechanics like Hold’n’Link, themes and much more. 

Luck of Panda: Bonus Combo from Netgame was one of our favorites, with beautiful illustrations of the peaceful Chinese countryside and separate bonus games inspired by Chinese folklore: Prosperity and Longevity. This game is a typical example of the quality on offer at Vegaswa,  much deeper and more creative than classic Vegas-style slots. 

The slot lineup is broken up into lots of themed collections, which is a great way to browse. However, some of them seemed a little unclear to us. “Hot”, “Must Try” and “Monthly TOP” also seemed to cover a lot of the same ground. 

Worse still is the lack of a clear “Live Casino” section. We almost didn’t realize that Vegasway has an excellent selection of live dealer games from Iconic21! The only way to see them all together is to scroll down the homepage to a small subcategory. Most sweeps casinos showcase their live games front and center in the main games menu, which Vegasway should definitely consider, too. 

The live games themselves were excellent: we’ve played Iconic21 games tons of times and they worked perfectly here. Cricket Blackjack Live was one quirky option we hadn’t seen before.

Finally, the menu is rounded out by some arcade-style games, like the shoot’em Jackpot Fishooter. The only thing missing here is RNG versions of classic casino games like blackjack and roulette, but the live tables more than do the trick.

There are a total of 16 software providers represented at Vegasway, all of which are big names in the industry. It’s a great spread, meaning the library feels diverse and there is always a different style of game to try. The live games are all from Iconic21, which is a trusted provider —  even if it isn’t quite at the level of Evolution, in our opinion.

You don’t need to spend any money to play at Vegasway. You can get both GC and SC for free through different bonuses, including the welcome bonus and ongoing daily bonuses.

The banking process was one area where it was clear to us that Vegasway is still a newly-launched sweepstakes casino. Normally, there are a variety of payment methods to choose from, but here, Visa and Mastercard were the only options. 

The process worked perfectly for us, but we’d still like to see some more flexibility. E-wallets like PayPal or Skrill, bank transfers, and crypto payments would all be great additions.

As for prize redemptions, they only become available once you have made at least one purchase. You can redeem prizes at a rate of 1 SC for $1 in prizes, with gift cards starting from $25 and cash transfers starting from $100. 

Again, we have no complaints about the redemption process, apart from the lack of options. Cash prizes must be sent straight to your bank account, with no e-wallet or crypto options. 

Yes, all the signs are positive that Vegasway is a safe and legit sweepstakes casino. It’s worth remembering that it’s still a pretty new site, so it doesn’t have a longstanding reputation yet. 

Vegasway requires you to complete full KYC checks before you can redeem prizes, which they are legally required to do. Information stored on the site is protected by strong ECDSA encryption. It’s a good sign that Visa and Mastercard are happy to process payments on behalf of the site, too. 

The games all come from legit software providers who have a much longer track record in the industry than Vegasway, and all use RNG technology for fair and random outcomes. 

Vegasway also offers good Responsible Gaming tools, including reality check notifications, purchase limits you can set yourself, a temporary cool-off period if you need a break, or permanent self-exclusion. You can also set 2-factor authentication for extra security.

Our only criticism here is that the RG section is surprisingly hard to find. Normally, it’s well signposted, but in this case, it’s buried in your Account settings. 

Legal Status of Vegasway Casino 

Vegasway doesn’t have a gambling license and isn’t legally considered a gambling site. Instead, it’s a free social casino that also offers sweepstakes prizes and is regulated differently from real money casinos.

We had a positive experience with customer support at Vegasway. The live chat button is always available at the bottom of the screen, and starts off with a chatbot. It spits out some useful info, but we also appreciated that it transferred us to a real person as soon as we typed “Speak to an agent.”

The person we spoke to, Eddie, was also helpful. Although he tended to respond in long paragraphs that seemed copied and pasted, he was always able to answer our questions.

After spending quite some time at Vegasway casino, generally speaking, our impressions are mostly positive. This casino comes in hot with a lot of great features and manages to avoid a lot of the pitfalls new casinos often fall into.

The selection of games is great: more than a thousand high-quality and diverse slots, 25 live dealer tables from Iconic21, and a few quirky arcade games thrown in for good measure. We’d like to see a central Live Casino section added to the menu, but that is mainly a cosmetic thing. 

We’re totally sold on bonuses, too. 350,000 GC and 2 free SC is more than enough to jump straight into the casino right off the bat, and we love the multiple daily bonuses which keep your free supply growing. If you want to spend some money, there are multiple purchase bonuses, too. 

Banking is the main area Vegasway needs to work on. Only accepting credit card payments puts it behind competitors like Hello Millions (which lets you use e-wallets) or Stake.us (which lets you use crypto), to name just a couple of examples. 

However, overall, we enjoyed our experience a lot, so their sweepstakes casino rating definitely reflects that.
