Has anyone had any success with taking sites like Santeda to court or using a Curacao based lawyer for settlement cases? Or even getting a decision in the UK that can be presented to them to reclaim losses or non paid out winnings?
Over the years a number of people have raised legal challenges to Curaçao casinos but we’re not aware of any public record of those cases nor the results. From what we’ve heard — and this is only hearsay — exceedingly few of those cases yield a favourable settlement for the player, as in maybe two or three times in the 20-ish years we’ve been watching Curaçao activities.
I’d love to be able to report better results from the Curaçao courts but, as I’m sure you can imagine, there are likely a number of reasons why that doesn’t happen, meaning the parties involved would either not want to publicise such things or would be restricted from doing so.
