Question Increase in the gambling levies coming up in the budget?

So I just read that there is a potential huge increase on the gambling levies to 50%?

I wanted to point this question to the reps and see what they think about this proposed increase in tax?

Will this result in even more casinos leaving the UK market?

I really hope this is not the case but I do think that if this does happen it will mean there will be a very very small number of casinos that will keep their UKGC license.

Gordon Brown, UK chancellor of the exchequer in the Blair years 1997-2008 and who was in charge when the banking crisis hit at the end of that period, today recommended Rachel Reeves raise an extra £3.2bn from increasing Gaming Duty on the 'undertaxed' UK online gambling industry.
