Hi everyone,

I’ve been receiving SMS spam every single day, and the messages always include links like these:

***snipped list of links....

They all seem to point to the same kind of shady online casinos

Is there any way to stop ?

Not quite sure how you were able to post all those links, but please don't do it again.

We all have enough trouble with these SMS spam, so there is no need to give them anymore airtime here. A genuine mistake I am sure, so no need to take it any further.

How to stop?

If on iphone, go into the sender details and block block block. Keep doing it, they will go down over time. You're being targeted as you have probably open links in messages (by accident likely) and this then adds you to another 10 lists instantly.

There is an option to forward onto the fraud squad, but I am not sure that actually does anything.

It doesn't help when you post live links to the spammers' sites! Please don't.

As for your question, I get them, so do most people. I simply report them as spam and don't open the messages.

Snatch Casino? Are you serious? :eek2:

apologize for including links in my previous post, that wasn’t my intention. Is it possible to contact an affiliate directly to stop SMS spam? I'm quite sure the links they send identify the affiliate in some way.

Snatch used to be an altacore site, one of the better ones.

At somepoint this year the website must have got sold to the owners of ybet as now it's just identical to that site and has nothing to do with altacore anymore.

It is constant here with me. I am currently receiving one or two sms casino spam messages a week. No doubt my number has been sold on by some of the casinos I have signed up with in the past.

But then I have had the same mobile number for nearly 20 years, from when I moved back to the UK from Gibraltar in 2006.

All you can do in the main is delete and report as junk. Unfortunately very difficult to block as they do not appear to come from an actual number. It is infuriating.
