Some days you login here and it's just so....bloody negative.
So here's a thread I invite any member to come in and post something..anything...made them feel good today. Or even to see others' good days.
Maybe good family news, a good casino win, a sunny day, a returning tv show....absolutely anything.
Only thing I ask is you park the snark at the door.

So here's to a feel good thread, warm-fuzzies for yourself and others.

Today I found the cat usiing his newly mounted cat bed. Hes wheezy with breathing issues and likes to hang his head near a window crack, so he now has a window-box style bed.
A little thing, but makes his breathing a bit easier.

Today, and well yesterday, I feel good because, I convinced mom to quit cable tv to save on our bills and switch to NetFlix (plus what I download for her) - but she felt the difference today not being able to watch all her olympic sports and qualifiers...but happily found them streaming live so she gets her fix now

No, I wasn't kidding. That was what I believed for years. I had to go check a few minutes ago, and if you google you will see that it was indeed a topic of discussion. I don't watch tv.

I feel great today because I survived flying to and from London. I'm so scared every time.

Mostly I feel good because I just had a phone call from my eighty year old father that the cancer wasn't as dangerous as we thought. He will be fine

...and also that I have so many good pictures from London and it's hardly any normal tourist ones at all

Oh blushes, Thought nobody cares about me. . Not playing online anymore though I should do a small deposit for the games I can still play and like. Playing Land-based now but not doing that good. Going down to Niagara Falls for 2 nights last week of this month and then to Ceaser's Windsor for a night. Not a picture person but will try and do a trip report on here with a couple of pics. Scrapped the Las Vegas idea thanks to Trump and the shutdown. Right now like today spending the casino winnings that I won Last November December and replacing some old things, Got a new sound bar system to replace the old home theater I had, trying to replace some old clothes, new wireless mouse and mouse pad and still have to look at a new mattress. Giving up on trying to find a girlfriend, just so brutal these days, Nobody wants honesty, loyal, respectful anymore. Still at my extremely stressful job, I am looking again now though and still in hell hole city that I live in where it is really really bad here. Other than that just the same.

Didn't realise it was directed by him, yes, would like to watch Twin Peaks again someday. It was iconic when I was younger and there is one episode I missed though couldn't tell you which one cause I missed it

Because since mid Novemeber my right ear has been blocking and unblocking due to a disgusting build up of wax. Typically the ear was blocking up and leaving me almost completely deaf for up to 2 days max, but the last time it blocked it hasn't opened or popped (almost 3 weeks deafness).

I seen a Dr last week and she told me "There was no wax there" and she doesn't think "Syringing or Microsuction would help" as she thinks there's "Fluid behind the eardrum". I felt there was fluid in there too.

So she sent me home without any advice or even a reference to an ENT, you know because fuck me.

The next day I needed bloods taken and asked the Nurse if she could have a look, she got another Nurse who told me to come back for a Syringe. Well today I have had it done and now I can hear again.

Anyway here is a disgusting image of the wax build up that Dr Carey couldn't see and she used an otoscope (Please look away now), I should refer her to an optician!

And yes, the relief straight after was amazing. I was literally asking people to repeat themselves 4 or 5 times and then would just reply "Yea, I know what you mean" even though I still hadn't a clue what they said

Tonight I feel much better (not quite to th realm of good yet) because of.......

The amazing community at CM that many so many players work hard to create.

In particular, those members (who I guess would prefer me NOT to name on the thread) who have gone way above and beyond my wildest hopes and prayers.

They have helped me (and are still helping;both with sound advise and financially) through a situation that was 100% self inflicted, but could have ended so much more disasterously.

Most amazing for me has been that it has come without judgement and I am truely humbled.
