Trada moving to Aspire Global platform from 20th November

Is that low RTP allowed by regulators in Europe? Have some memory trace that at least MGA would demand bit higher. Not biggest fan of Aspire, not last due to their T&C:s but assume Trada not jumping to all these most horrible bonus terms etc, i hope platform is flexible enough to let you have your own tweaks not to come to part of group many are avoiding just because Aspire and their terms...

Platform itself is quite good, guess they do it for reason, just name Aspire don't fancy at all when hearing it but as @Conor@Trada says, let's see what's happening and hope Trada not going to be just one more Aspire "brand" to avoid.

Hey all :)

So the news is out :)
This is going to be an awesome development for us, and our players.
Not only will we have a whole rake of new providers and games, but we will also be able to offer more varied and exciting promotions.

Of course, we expected this kind of hesitancy, change is always scary.
I've already forwarded on a request to get a full list of our games that we will be offering, along with their expected RTPs :)
Once I have them, I'll be able to answer the RTP questions more thoroughly. :)

If anyone has any other questions regarding our migration to the Aspire Platform, please let me know and I'll get all of the information I can for you all.

Conor

Please get them to knock off these dubious terms they have such as crappy 5x max win from the bonuses! For example free fiver in the post then max cashout 25 quid yet wager is something like 35-40x this type of stuff stinks to high heaven.

Will you be illegally charging a fee for card deposits like other aspire brands do? Or will it stay free as it should?
Please tell me you are using in house live chat and not the abomination that Aspire use. I wanted to check they still charge and it took me 45 minutes for casinoluck to confirm they still charge for card deposits.

Will you be keeping up the Thursday treats with no wagering? They’ve been quite profitable for me :)

The conversation below took 45 minutes, and look at the lies, starts off with they charge fees, then my bank will charge the fee, then the processing company charges the fee, refused to say how much too, and it's illegal.

N/A: Do you charge a fee for card deposits please

Liliya: Yes, it says on our website that there is a fee

Liliya: What payment method would you like to use?

N/A: i couldn't find it, would be visa debit from the UK

Liliya: Please give me some minutes to check it :)

N/A: thank you

Liliya: I'm checking it

N/A: thanks

Liliya: So, when you will be depositing there will be a fee from your bank. You will see how much it is before making a deposit

N/A: my bank don't charge fees for a card payment, do you have a link to your page with the fees listed please?

Liliya: I'm afraid I cannot provide you with that list as fees are charged by the processing company.

N/A: so you don't charge fees?

Liliya: We do not. It is processing company who does.

N/A: ok, so how do your customers find out? I'm not going to join then deposit and find out you have taken extra money from me without telling me

N/A: I know you used to charge 2.5% which is why I'm asking

Liliya: When you will make a deposit you will be able to see the fee that will be charged.

Won't really affect me personally as I am currently BB'ed at Trada, however a query for the other members here.....

AG currently list their bonus turnover as 50xB but then players later discover that virtually all slots (apart from their in house ****) only contribute 50% so its actually 100xB!

Last time I looked they had also removed some of the more popular titles which carried a risk of big hits, examples which spring to mind are Raging Rhino and Immortal Romance.

Appreciate Trada will have discussed this at length but another heads up, when some of the more popular Everymatrix casinos made this move (casino Luck, Next Casino, Wild Slots) they lost a lot of their existing player base.

Although I do not play there, I consider Trada one of the all time greats and a casino which can be trusted above most others, I am super wary but I also wish you the best of luck with the upcoming move!

HUGE MISTAKE

You only need to look at how Casino Luck, Next Casino and Wild Slots went from being some of the best casinos online, to mediocre (and that's being generous) and hardly ever even mentioned here at CM now.

Crappy bonus terms, where 95% of their slots only count 50% for wagering. (effectively doubling the advertised wagering)
Low bonus conversion amount
2.5% deposit fees
Lowest RTP% setting on any slots that can be adjusted.

That's just off the top of my head. There's probably many more things against AG

Biggest mistake ever, sorry Trada.

My comments as brianmon said above with Next Casino. We all warned the rep here about what was going to happen and it really did. Rep got pissed, stopped posting and Next fell to the bottom of the heap.

So many things wrong with AG Group. The misleading bonus terms, slow withdrawals, and low RTPs.

Conor, don't make promises you won't be able to keep like 'fast withdrawals' - these shady terms are applied at levels way above your pay grade.

Sharing another platform doesn't necessarily remove autonomy over payment systems and Trada's bespoke terms.
That may be the case in a takeover, but not moving platforms as the two don't have to be mutually exclusive.

The factor in play here will be efficiency savings due to the high cost of UK operations and the chance to offer a more comprehensive range of games with shared costs, rather than stagnating into an eventual closure or at least revoking their UK license.

Times are tough for smaller independent sites. For example Midaur have 2 new properties and aren't even bothering to take UK players for them as they cannot make money here. So pooling resources for survival is a cogent and logical course of action.

Well this is going well for Trada lol

Seriously though, I can't get my head round why a casino with such a high reputation as Trada would move to a platform like Aspire. They and Jumpman are the two casinos groups I avoid like the plague (well GIG too but not because of the platform). Surely the people in charge are aware of what happened to other casinos that have moved to Aspire, I can see Trada being the 'fall from grace' winner next year. I genuinely hope I'm wrong as I think Rachel and Connor are 2 of the best reps on here, but I just can't see this ending well, on here at least.

You mean like casinoluck kept their bonus terms when they moved as they promised?
I'll put money on them migrating to aspires standards within 6 months, even if they start off differently :(

Well it's easier to predict doom than success, but myself, I hope it works for them and the integrity of their product is maintained. Give it a chance!

A quick read of their new terms and conditions, bonus terms etc show they are taking exactly the same route as every other AG site.

If Conor can confirm on this thread that they will not have a 24-48 hour pending period on withdrawals and introduce new wagering with 50% playthrough on popular games) then I won't be so negative :)

One thing is for sure, Trada have a 9.8 rating on Casinomeister and Best Casino 2018 award. They will be long forgotten this time next year!

Of course everyone on here wishes Trada well, they are respected, loved, trusted, fantastic reps etc etc and as you say far easier to become negative than positive.

Point being made though is that there (or at least I have never seen it) is little positivity about Aspire at all

If all Trada will be doing is using their platform fair enough, great but it won't be that simple Aspire have have crappy terms, removed top games to avoid risk to their casinos, crazy OTT wagering on bonuses to name a small handful of their minuses.

Another point is that I would not be rattling on so much about any old 'XYZ' casino, It is because I have time for Trada and have remembered some great times there, Happily sit here in a years time with egg on my face as I really do not want to see Trada go downhill, even slightly!

Well, agreeing with you and Colin to some extent that IF they become a straight clone of Next or Wildslots then of course you would expect their rating here to be the same as those other Aspire Global sites. Remember that the survival of the Trada name and casino is the pressing issue and it will be the state of the market that's instigated the move. I doubt that losing their joint-top CM rating (potentially) is an event their great team would be happy about but if it's a choice of Aspire way or the highway...….

Probably very good as a business decision and give Trada chance to make more under the bottom line which why most of the companies exist. Just like some others, bit sceptical what this actually is for user experience, hope everything goes well and we are proven wrong.

Even if some CM members would leave because of this change, it's not that huge thing if you can make more money out from players (reduced costs in operations with new platform and maybe something which have been done manually can be automated etc....), even though best casino of the year at CM looks great in bottom of your site (not sure if they have it, haven't visit for while as no deposits allowed from here), it don't bring you millions.

Decision and deal is made, we can give our opinions to Conor but that doesn't change things anymore. Honestly hope that Trada is not taking place in that long queue of "Once great casinos, now....", being great and offer great user experience cost more than something opposite what your competitors are doing, hope Trada team find a way to somehow only use platform without these horrible T&C:s, cashout times etc... Don't know any so far who would

Fair point but if 'survival' moving forward is the key issue, then surely there are far betters choices available to Trada than AG?

The business reasons for doing this we can only speculate on.

Speculation aside, the move in general I meant, better options surely?
Again, we don't know the exact financial circumstances and which platforms were prudent for Trada, or could accommodate the right deal.

I'd say it's so they can make some money rather than more...

Possibly, but not less :)
Thing is, and not meaning Trada here, as we don't know what will happen (even if we can make educated guesses!) us on here are rare in that we know what RTP is, we know other casinos process cashouts in minutes etc, but, no matter what some said in the other recent thread, most people don't know what RTP is, and are used to slow withdrawals. They login to Coral or Ladbrokes, play 50 x 10p spins on Book of Dead at 96% RTP and lose it in 15 minutes, then login to an Aspire site do the same but at @ 91% RTP and lose it in 13 minutes. It's no different to them, they have lost their money.
They might play on PaddyPower or BetVictor withdraw on a Thursday by debit card, get it in the bank next Tuesday, with Aspire it might be the Wednesday.
A bigger choice of games and a larger presence being part of a large group, in theory is a good move for them. If all the players on here stopped playing, it would hardly make a difference to them, as there are millions more out there to take our places :(

Why is it necessarily going to be cheaper to operate from the AG platform than the one they're on?
They may have more games, and a lower RTP on many games. So they might be hoping to make more money.
But that doesn't mean their operating costs are going to be lower

I assume that the savings will come from automated systems reducing manpower.... eg in the email it says about extending live chat . I guess that it is to be offered with the awful AG lot. No more lovely chats with the wonderful Cleo and co.

The mention of vip tiers also indicates it is more than just them just switching to using their platform.

Oh Trada!
When something isn’t broken, why try to tix it.
You stood apart because you weren’t simply a clone of a thousand other casinos. You were unique and offered the personal touch.
Today is a sad sad day.

Because it is broken if they are not making any money

I don't play at Trada but have been keeping up with this casino and always wished I could play there so its sad when these changes could badly affect players and casino :(

Twice in the last week we have had posts from players having problems getting payments to wallets both were told by CS that they didn’t have cash in their wallets to pay out and were waiting on top ups.
Conor popped up on the first thread and stated CS were wrong and should not have said that which was fair enough until it happened again at the weekend punter being told the same thing.
Doesn’t take the brains of an archbishop to work out that something is amiss

That's something can happen for operators without meaning that there are any big issues, especially during weekend when responsible person might not be working. Having all currencies topped up with all payment methods mostly is kind of estimated what should be enough but some players win big, there can temporarily be no fees topped up.
That's something what CS shouldn't tell to player as it sounds exactly how it sounds, but hard to believe that there are many casinos who have unlimited funds topped up with all currencies to their withdrawal "wallets" with all methods. Usually person who is topping them is not just payment worker who work on weekend but some in management who then take care of these on Monday.

No idea about Trada but that's something what happen quite many times for other very well known casinos which can especially weekends reason why withdrawal is taking long to process.

Has anyone, for 1 second considered that maybe a quality Casino like Trada may be the one to pull the Aspire group out of the muck, and not the other way around with Aspire bringing Trada down? Maybe this is the start of something really really good..... naysayers give Trada a chance here. They will likely be presented with various RTP options, and I would be amazed and shocked if they chose to go the penny pinching way.....Trada has always been so customer-centric. I for one am putting a bit of faith behind Trada's decision here. More games, more options, and the only real knock I can see is not dealing with Ian, Cleo, Jack and company exclusively on Live Chat anymore.....other than that I am willing to wait and give this situation a fair chance to unroll.

It's more a package deal. You get the support, games off the platform (which are already lowered RTP versions), payment processing and everything else that comes with operating on the said platform.

I stand to be corrected but I doubt they run different RTPs per site... it's a central setting.

I love Trada and their team... some of the best people in the industry along with L&L.

I would love to see them confirm that they will do their own support, payments and request their own RTPs... sadly, I fear that may not be the case.

Nate

Considering Aspire have around 60 sites, all of which, as far as i'm aware, only offer the same lower RTP (on the games which are variable), Trada probably won't have the option.
And i doubt any casino would be good enough "to pull the Aspire group out of the muck "

You think one small casino will change the way the whole group works?
History has shown with other casinos they all tow the aspire line. Trada are going to be using the standard Aspire T&C's, with the lack of input from either rep so far, then it's obvious what people are going to think. Most the things mentioned already in the thread must already be known to Trada, or at least some of it, so why no comment on anything yet? I hope its because they have gone to Aspire and said they want to arrange to have payments in an hour, higher RTP games than the platform currently uses etc, but I doubt it :(
