I see many new crypto casinos opening every month, and a lot of players are moving from traditional (I mean fiat) casinos to them. Crypto is clearly changing the way people play and bet online. Maybe it’s because payments are faster, privacy is better, or people simply trust crypto more. What do you think is the main reason for this shift? And which option you prefer?

Because some people believe the likes of the UKGC are over reaching somewhat in their regulations for online gambling, whilst others believe they are right in the actions they have taken.

Those that are annoyed that the likes of autoplay for instance have been disabled or the multiple hoops needed to navigate SoW is too much hassle, are the ones that look elsewhere and go offshore. In the main to crypto operators.

Ok, covering all aspects.

I wouldn’t say that SOW is too much of a hassle though. The point here (for me at least) is I don’t want to supply any confidential financial info to an online casino. Who knows how secure the process is, and what happens with the info afterwards. I say that as someone who has zero to hide, and have more than sufficient funds to support my low rolling hobby.

Players are fed up with the 'nanny' state and over regulation, also learning that a lot of these crypto places actually do pay out.

These are the main 2 reasons, although this being said I prefer to still stick to a regulated operator (L&L) where I know I am 100% safe.
