Looking for online casino suggestions please - complete newbie to the casino world and have tried Jackpot Joy, Virgin Games & Ladbrokes but I’m not enjoying them as I’ve never won apart from £20 here and there.
Any recommendations greatly appreciated 😊

Yeah Pub or All British are by far the best if you ask me.

There are many reliable options in the UK, such as Betway, 888Casino and LeoVegas. They are licensed and offer good bonuses. I personally tried 888Casino - a wide selection of games and convenient payments.

[maxd says: can’t let this pass without mentioning that 888 has for decades been a nightmare for players with complaints. See here for details: 888/Cassava: all related properties are ignoring player complaints - Casinomeister Forum .]

Just looked at Lottogo, but 5x maximum winnings on deposit bonus with 40x wagering? I'd say more 'No Go' than Lottogo.

Leovegas, 888casino, Mr Green, Betway

Awful sample there, particularly for UK punters.

I don't know what Mr Green are like here in the UK these days but LeoVegas and MrGreen tend to use Post-Wager bonus structures meaning you only get given your bonus after completing your wagering in full with your cash OR it gets released incrementally, usually at 10% intervals. These structures tend to offer little value to players but are definitely still better than only playing with raw cash.

As your post mentions, perhaps these strategies are only about extending your play time rather than getting monetary value out of the bonuses.

Please keep in mind Forum Rules 1.11 and 1.16.

Just glanced at SlotsTemple and clicked Netent games, noticed they have both Who's the Bride and Reel Steel. These games, unlike DOA, are denying me the option to verify my age and play for free. Are WTB and Reel Steel playable here for UK players?

Hopefully the Evo version of DOA at SlotsTemple wil produce a wildline one day for that lucky someone, so they can finally update the cons section on the info page. :D

DOA

Pros:
+ Freespins with stiicky wilds.
+ Great 96.8% rtp.
+ Fun graphics and theme.

Cons:
-Fairly basic format
-2500x a bit low

Anywhere would do.

More chance of a super model buying me a much needed new car and blowing me whilst I test drive it.

If youre looking for a casino to play at in the UK my suggestion would be to move abroad. Latest rumour is that starting 12th Nov 2025 online slots will be limited to 1p per spin with a maximum yearly loss limit of £5. To qualify for the yearly loss limit the UKGC will require you to show savings of at least £10M. Spin speed is being slowed down to one spin per hour.

Strange that slots temple have all games from providers listed and as demo play but hardly of them any available for real money, so you go through the games find something you want to play and haha we dont actually have it despite it being listed on our casino,

why list games you dont have so im wasting my time browsing through games which i cant play.

ok their png selection is crap and contains very little i cant already play at mrq and partycasino.

I believe they started out as a demo only site. But then began offering real play.
More real play games are being offered as time goes on. It's a fairly new business

A quick bump to remind readers that there is the UK Online Casinos list over on the main Casinomeister site. Webzcas details that in post #3 of this thread.

Just adding to this thread, if you are looking for decent UK online casinos to play at, it is well worth looking at the reviews of All British Casino, PlayOjO and Bet365, whereby all three score highly and furthermore are accredited here on Casinomeister.

Additionally, check out what is an accredited casino, which provides information as to what makes an accredited casino on Casinomeister stand out.

PlayOjO (and the rest of their group's sites) have some of the lowest RTP's of any UKGC licensed casinos.
Not even 94%, some games which have a 96/97% equivalent are running at 92%, 91% and even 90%.
I think they've even outdone William Hills

Hi Kat,

I’m fairly new here too, but thought I’d share a couple of casinos I’ve had good experiences with. You might want to check out MrBen and MrRun — both are UK-friendly (and available in other markets as well). They don’t seem to get much mention on here, which is surprising because they’ve been solid for me.

For example, at MrRun my last withdrawal landed in under 24 hours, which isn’t something I see very often. And on MrBen, I’ve really enjoyed the live dealer tables — smooth gameplay and a clean layout that makes it easy to navigate.

[No live links please, this is clearly stated in the Casinomeister Forum Rules as being something that newbie members are requested to NOT do as the likelihood of spamming is too high. Furthermore the casinos you mention are unlicensed in the UK and have known predatory practices — thank you @itsme123 (below) — so those are not good casinos to be recommending. Please stop. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.]

Neither licensed for UK, so play at your risk. And when you hit the link to sign up it defaults to one of the not on Gamstop sites which is another huge red flag.

I thought Mr Ben was a brand of rice? Mr Run a constipation treatment?

They both ultimately end up in the toilet, where your money is likely to follow should you be daft enough to play at either of these unlicensed scam sites.

Welcome! If you’re looking for something different and easy to use, one option you might check out is Lottoland. I’ve found their support to be friendly and payouts pretty fast compared with some other places. Plus they offer a range of games and bet types that can be fun for a newbie. Worth a look alongside the ones you’ve tried.

Not sure if they completely changed from illegal casino to regulated white label OR weren't displaying their licence properly before, but as of right now both MrBen and MrRun are properties of White Hat Gaming and licenced by UKGC and MGA.

The only Mr Benn I've heard of was a kids cartoon when I was a kid, about a well dressed Civil Servant who used to visit a costume shop on his dinner break and dress up in a variety of costumes which are now considered largely racist or xenophobic which back then led to a variety of 10 minute adventures of his across the globe. I blame him for a lot of US citizens believing us Brits dressed in pinstripe suits and a bowler hat with an umbrella always at the ready. I don't remember any where he was dressed as a Croupier though.
