I signed up with Wovebet.com casino and won $47,000.00. In talking with live support they told me i had to pay a $100 dollars to verify my account and withdraw my funds. I then deposited a $100 through Crypto which turned out to be a deposit of $96.40 and they said I had to deposit another $100 dollars because the deposit has to be $100.00. I couldn't deposit $3.60 which would equal $100 I had to deposit another $100 so stupidly I did then they said I had to deposit $200 more because of the $96.40 which is not $100.00. So I lost $200.00 that is deposited with the casino and I can't withdraw it.

Welcome to the Forum.

I am sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing with Wovebet. From what you have mentioned, I fear that this may be a scam casino.

There have been a few of them doing the rounds and asking for people to deposit money in order to withdraw their funds.

Did you make any initial deposit in order to win those funds?

Nate

Sounds a bit like a Nigerian type of scam.

They probably allowed you to win that crazy amount with fake slots they control and then hooked you into sending them more money with zero intentions of paying out what you think that they owe you.

What the hell does Wovebet even mean and how did you even find them?

The 200 is gone and you can't get it back, make peace with that.

Wovebet is another url used by the criminal enterprise that is flooding the internet with thousands of duplicate websites. Avoid any sort of spade shaped logo.

Glad it reminded someone else of the advance fee scam!

They will have got social media advertisements.

The scam is bulk buying urls, deploying a duplicate website and then marketing it on various social media platforms. It's actually a really "great" scam, mixing advance fee with gambling winnings is very convincing for unknowing marks.

Exactly.

The Californian player thought they "hit it big" and probably lost sleep, staring at the ceiling in bed and thinking about what they'll do with the money for days.

Meanwhile at Wovebet headquarters:
