MaxiPlay Casino Review
UKGC-licensed casino with 4000+ games
Casinomeister's Verdict
MaxiPlay Casino was launched back in 2015, and over the decade it’s been around, it has accumulated more than 4000 games, and a full suite of responsible gambling tools.
But, in some aspects, MaxiPlay is still far from perfect. They could definitely speed up their withdrawal process and relax their grip on wagering requirements.
Nonetheless, they’ve managed to accumulate only one complaint here at Casinomeister over the years, so generally speaking, MaxiPlay is worthy of checking out. In case you’ve been here already, share your two cents on our forums.
4000+ games from 80+ operators
From the Desk of Max Drayman
If Casinomeister gave an award for Least Troublesome Casino, Maxiplay would be a serious contender. One (1!) complaint in ten years and very little on the forums that whole time. As per the other ProgressPlay/Maxi Affiliates sites licensing is good, UKGC and Malta. Self-exclusion policy looks robust and fit for purpose. Complaints procedure is good and backed by eCOGRA which is one of the better ADRs in the business. From our perspective that all means “two thumbs-up.”
Pros
-

Not so quick withdrawals
MaxiPlay Casino Bonuses and Promotions
While the total promotional lineup you’ll see at MaxiPlay Casino could be significantly varied depending on where you’re loading up their website from, from what we’ve seen, they don’t exactly lack choices.
There’s the welcome offer, a reload bonus, and several ongoing free spins promotions.
The main sticking point, though, is the really tight 50x WR on all their casino bonuses, which, in most cases, concludes in a single scenario: players run out of balance before being able to meet the wagering requirements.
VIP and Loyalty Programs
In all honesty, it’s hard to say MaxiPlay Casino’s VIP program is something that’d bring us to the edge of our seats. It’s hardly anything revolutionary, it’s one of those ‘play as much as you can, and you’ll get something’ kind of systems, but without any clear instructions. Until you make your deposit that’ll complete the first mission, you won’t have any idea what it is that you’ll get, exactly.
All in all, if you were already intending on playing large, you may get a bang for your buck with this program, but just don’t chase any prizes for the sake of them.
Banking & Payment Methods
MaxiPlay Casino supports the usual culprits payment-wise. There’s your card assortment that includes Visa and Mastercard, and several e-wallets such as Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, and PayPal. For non-UK players, there are several crypto options in the roster, too, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USD Coin. Also, players from Finland can join MaxiPlay using Trustly.
As for the limits, standard no caps situation for the UK players, and a pretty restrictive one for everyone else. They won’t let you withdraw more than €3,000/week and €6,000/month.
The speed of withdrawals isn’t their strongest suit, either, though some methods are by default faster than others. For perspective, e-wallets could take up to 72 hours, while card withdrawals could drag on for 10 days.
The KYC process is nothing out of the box, though, and you can finish it up yourself right from your profile settings. Still, if you’re not in the UK, so you don’t get urged to confirm your identity the second you register, we suggest you do it nonetheless. It’s just a precaution so you avoid prolonging your withdrawals later on.
Responsible Gaming
MaxiPlay Casino didn’t really break their necks around their responsible gambling page, but they do mention all the necessary information, so we have to give them that. They give players tips on staying safe while gambling, and activating some of their 7 responsible gambling tools.
For perspective, they’ve got deposit, wager, loss, and session limits, as well as reality check, cool-off, and self-exclusion options.
Customer Support at MaxiPlay Casino
You can reach out to MaxiPlay’s customer support using either their chat widget or their email address. Both will get your issue resolved, but the chat widget will definitely speed up the process, especially if you’ve got something time-sensitive.
Regardless of your issue, you’ll likely be met with a pretty helpful customer support rep. At least that was the case each time we reached out to them, so we have no reason to doubt things will be any different for you.
MaxiPlay Casino Experience and Features
MaxiPlay Casino’s website doesn’t do much for us, visually speaking, but at least it’s not too overwhelming (you know how online casinos can get), and the whole interface is pretty intuitive.
As for the special features, they are as dull as ditchwater. Apart from the search bar, which is pretty run-of-the-mill, nothing is worth mentioning.
They also don’t have a designated MaxiPlay Casino app, but this is rarely a deficiency as most casinos run pretty well in mobile browsers, and MaxiPlay is the same way.
Brand games
Game Providers
MaxiPlay Casino stores games from 80+ software providers in total, which, we’d say is just enough to have variety, but not too overwhelming so you can’t decide because there’s too much to do. We’ve seen names like Big Time Gaming, Playtech, Pragmatic Play, and 1x2gaming, among others.
MaxiPlay Casino Slots
MaxiPlay Casino’s slots library is home to slightly more than 4000 titles, which, compared to their overall 4800+ games library, speaks volumes about which type of game they capitalize the most.
We’ve seen a bunch of staples like Big Bass Splash 1000, Duel at Dawn, Big Bad Wolf: Cash Collect & Link, Rise of Olympus 1000, and Cyberheist City, to name a few.
Live Casino
If you’re looking for a live casino section at MaxiPlay Casino, brace yourself for nothing. We went around in circles trying to locate it somewhere within the Games section, but in vain.
Their ‘Casino’ category does hold several live dealer games, such as Classic Roulette and Rugby Fever Roulette, but that’s all there is to it.
About the MaxiPlay Casino Team and History
ProgressPlay Limited, a company behind a dozen other brands, is running MaxiPlay Casino, too. They’ve got 2 licenses, the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission one.
So far, so good.
Until we scratch a bit deeper into their reputation. They’ve been recently fined with a £1,000,000 fine for failing to comply with the UKGC’s money laundering commission, which definitely doesn’t paint a good picture.
Player Comments on MaxiPlay Casino
We haven’t found any recent comments on MaxiPlay Casino, but our forum members didn’t mince their words on ProgressPlay Limited, the operator behind this platform.
slot_zombie — ProgressPlay site – instant skip.
SYPlayer95 — Another ProgressPlay. Whilst there might not be a complaint against this particular site, there will be thousands against this brand.
Complaints and Track Record
Despite being launched ages ago (in 2015, to be exact), players have filed only one complaint on MaxiPlay here at Casinomeister over the years. That, on its own, speaks volumes about the way they’ve been doing business for a while.
But, as with all platforms we review, we’ll keep a close eye on MaxiPlay, too, and make sure to update this casino review in case anything goes wrong in the meantime.
