Need for Spin Casino Review
A racing-themed site with mobile-friendly design and masses of casino games.
Casinomeister's Verdict
GBL Solutions is widely known for their standout themes, and Need for Spin is no exception. It’s entirely based on car races, so it has a superb racing theme running through it which sets a nice tone for the gaming experience. We love the fact that Need for Spin partnered with so many software developers, and it’s also great that there is a nice selection of promotions and rewards on offer, too.
It’s not all plain sailing for Need for Spin, though. GBL Solutions has a history of problems to keep in mind. These all took place prior to it receiving its official gambling license, though, so there are signs the casino is trying to make amends going forward. We’re also not fans of the maximum withdrawal limits being €500 per day or the fact that they’re not the most quick to handle player complaints.
All in all, if you’d like to test this place out, we recommend treading at least a little bit carefully.
Well-thought-out VIP club
From the Desk of Max Drayman
We’ve only seen a few issues regarding Need For Spin at Casinomeister, but to date, our overall impression has not been good. Aside from smallish items like an improper license declaration, the major problem, in our opinion, is their (mis)handling of player complaints. In a recent issue, they totally ignored a player’s complaint until we made it clear that casinos that ignore player issues get featured in Casinomeister Warnings. Then, and only then, did they bother to respond. So we’ll say here what we’ve been saying about the other casinos in the GBL group: We’d advise EXTREME caution if this place is where you feel you gotta spend your money.

Need for Spin Casino Bonuses and Promotions
There is a 3-deposit bonus waiting for you when you register at Need for Spin. That welcome offer is tilted towards newcomers, but there’s a high roller version available for those who like depositing higher amounts.
Stick around at the casino and you can also claim cashback of 15% up to €200 every week, too. Meanwhile, a weekly bonus of 30% and a weekend bonus of 40% bring even more enjoyment to your gaming at the site.
Need for Spin Welcome Bonus
You get to shift straight into fifth gear with the first part of the welcome bonus at Need for Spin. This offer requires a first deposit of at least €20, at which point you’ll receive a 110% bonus up to €500. If your first deposit is €50 or more, you receive 120 free spins on top of that. Spins come in batches of 60 across two days.
The wagering requirements are capped at 45x (or 70x if you reside in Finland). You must complete those within 5 days of receiving the bonus, which is also how long the bonus remains active on your account.
The withdrawal of winnings from free spins can be no larger than €100, and the withdrawal of winnings from bonus funds can be no greater than 10x your deposit.
In our opinion, the short wagering timeframe is slightly off-putting, especially coupled with the high 45x requirement. While it’s not unheard of for online casinos to give players a tight deadline to meet the requirements, it would be nice to see Need for Spin ease up a bit.
Also, it’s worth mentioning that many slots and other games do not contribute to wagering at all, so you’ll need to take a careful look at their terms and conditions before signing up for anything.
No-Deposit & Free Spins Offers
You won’t find any Need for Spin no-deposit bonus offers at the moment. There is the chance for these to arrive at the site in the future, though. We’ll keep a check on the promotions and highlight any no-deposit offers here, should they become available.
If you click on the Bonus Map, this displays a different bonus offer for each day of the month. Some of those rewards feature bonus funds and free spins, with different games and perks available every day.
VIP and Loyalty Programs
The gist of Need for Spin online casino’s VIP program is simple. The more bets you place, the more loyalty points you stand to win — every time you hit a wager total of €1,000, you receive a point. Then, the more loyalty points you acquire, the higher your VIP level becomes.
There are five levels in total, and as you move up through the levels, you receive progressively better rewards, including a specialized account manager, exclusive bonuses, access to tournaments, special birthday perks, and more.
Banking & Payment Methods
Once you head over to Need for Spin casino’s cashier page, you’ll first see the recommended payment methods – Visa, Mastercard, Paysafecard, Skrill, and crypto. These do present familiar and trustworthy options, with cryptocurrencies being the most secure and anonymous.
Other supported payment methods include Revolut bank transfers, CashtoCode, MiFinity, CASHlib, Neteller, eZeeWallet, Binance Pay, Wise, Jeton, and Pay via Bank.
Most of these payment methods require a minimum deposit of €20. However, if you want to deposit smaller amounts, you can transfer €10 through Paysafecard, Wise, and CashtoCode or €5 through CASHlib.
Be aware that cryptocurrencies have minimum transaction value limits of €50 for both deposits and withdrawals. All options transfer funds immediately into your casino account.
It’s common to have to withdraw using the same payment method you deposited through. In the case of CASHlib and CashtoCode, you cannot do this. Instead, you must withdraw through a bank wire transfer. The minimum transfer for a bank wire is €100.
Different withdrawal methods will take different timeframes to complete, with cryptocurrencies offering instant payouts. You can only withdraw up to €500 per day, and up to €10,000 per month — quite limiting if you asked us.
Need for Spin usually processes withdrawal requests within 24 hours, but it can then take up to 6 business days to receive the funds, depending upon your chosen method.
Withdrawals are free of charge, but if you don’t complete your bonus wagering at the time of your request, the casino can withhold 15% of your requested amount. The same could happen if you didn’t wager your deposit 3x before requesting a withdrawal.
Responsible Gambling
If you scroll down to the bottom of the Need for Spin website, you’ll find a link to their responsible gambling page.
That’s where you’ll see them stating that responsible gaming is a shared effort, and letting you in on all the responsible gaming tools you can activate if you find yourself not being able to control your gambling habits. There’s a ‘take a break’ option that freezes your account for a certain period of time, ‘reality check’ that lets you track your gaming sessions, and the self-exclusion option that blocks your account for an indefinite timeframe.
They also include links to a few external organizations, including Gamblers Anonymous and Gambling Therapy.
We’d really like to see Need for Spin include additional tools like betting, deposit, and loss limits, but since they’re offering slightly more than the usual bare-bones stuff we often see these days, we’ll give them some credit for that.
Customer Support at Need for Spin
For a quick way to find help at this gambling site, you can visit their FAQ section. There, you will find a selection of questions and their informative answers.
They also give you the option to contact them using the live chat widget which also links to all other sister sites owned by GBL Solutions. So, if you’ve joined any of their other casinos, you may end up speaking to the same advisor.
Our chat experience at Need for Spin was pretty great. Damian answered all our questions quickly and in a friendly way, giving us just the info we needed.
If chat isn’t your thing, you can send an email to the support team instead. Use the email address [email protected] for this, and you should receive a response within 24-48 hours.
Need for Spin Casino Experience and Features
While writing casino reviews, we always make sure to look at the basics first — design and UX. Looking at it, we cannot say they did a shabby job. The whole website takes the Need for Speed car racing vibe and sticks with it throughout. Each of the graphics relates in some way to speeding cars and racing – even the logos for the different game sections in the lobby have a connection to that theme. Overall, this creates a great first impression as a result.
You can access the navigation menu by clicking on the hamburger button in the top-left corner. There is also the Bonus Map link visible on every page so you can see the day’s deposit reward. What we also really liked about Need for Spin is the speed of sign-up and deposit. You can basically open your account, make a deposit and be playing the games within a couple of minutes.
The casino is also compatible with mobile devices. There isn’t a Need for Spin app available yet, but you can still navigate to the website through your Android or iOS mobile web browser. You’ll notice how the look and feel of the mobile version are similar to those of the desktop version, but the menu moves to the bottom of the website instead of on the left.
Brand games
Need for Spin Casino Game Providers
The great part about this casino site is that you can see each of the providers supplying their games to the lobby. The list contains about 120 different brands, including popular developers like Pragmatic Play, Play’n Go, Evolution, Playtech and Games Global.
Yet, Need for Spin doesn’t lack lesser-known providers, either. This may give you the opportunity to play some games you’ve never tried before, coming from brands like Kiron and Jade Rabbit.
Need for Spin Slots
Need for Spin online casino features a good deal of slots, and they’ve categorized them pretty well. The newest releases are in the ‘New’ section of the lobby. If you’re someone who likes to be the first to know about the most popular slot releases, you’ll find all of them in the ‘Popular’ section.
But, although they’ve neatly separated slots into different categories, you cannot sort or filter them any further. Hopefully, they’ll add more options in the future.
If this doesn’t bother you, you’ll definitely have something to do around here since Need for Spin online casino features a whole bunch of popular titles, including 3 Hot Chillies, 25 Coins, Book of Aztec, TNT Bonanza 2, and Jackpot Hunter.
Live Casino
If you jump across to the live casino section, you’ll find a grand collection of games from brands like Evolution, Pragmatic Play, Platipus, and others. All the releases stream live from top-of-the-range casino studios, which are known for using excellent HD cameras and featuring friendly, entertaining hosts.
Once again, there is no way of sorting or organizing the games in the live lobby, so you will need to look through the variety of roulette, blackjack, and baccarat titles to find the one you want to play.
It’s not only live versions of table games that Need for Spin provides, though. They also give you the option to try game shows such as Sweet Bonanza Candyland, Mega Wheel and Crazy Pachinko.
About the Need for Spin Team and History
Need for Spin online casino is one of the many sites run by GBL Solutions N.V., which is based in Curacao and has a gambling license (OGL/2024/589/0556) that just kicked in recently.
Since some of their sister casinos aren’t exactly known for having the best look (complaints and withdrawal speed-wise), seeing them with the fresh license gives us hope that they’re working towards being a responsible operator.
However, we still advise using caution when signing up and depositing until we see how that unfolds.
Complaints and Track Record
Although we haven’t had any complaints on Need for Spin, it’s impossible to overlook GBL Solutions’ past. On top of being quite slow in responding to complaints, as Max has mentioned, they have also received a formal warning from the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA). This occurred in 2023 because one of their casinos offered prohibited interactive gambling services to players from Australia.
