21 Casino Review
A casino with weekend cashouts and strong licensing
Casinomeister's Verdict
Once upon a time, 21 Casino held a spot on our recommended list, but since falling asleep at the wheel and losing its accredited status, our opinions have changed. This isn’t to say there isn’t anything redeemable about 21 Casino, especially as it seems to be undergoing a transitional period. The welcome bonus has undergone a recent revamp, and they’ve removed wagering requirements, possibly hoping to catch the attention of new players.
Still, the elephant in the room is that 21 Casino lost their accredited status here at Casinomeister due to failing to respond to player complaints. To become a Casinomeister-accredited casino in the first place is no easy feat, so it was disappointing that they were so careless with this title.
Whether you’re a 21 Casino lover or hater, we would love to hear from you on our forum page.

21 Casino Bonuses and Promotions
We were excited to check out the 21 Casino promotions, but you can imagine our disappointment upon finding only one welcome offer. Happily, the disappointment was short-lived after we discovered there are no wagering requirements attached to the welcome bonus. At least to the one offered to UK players.
However, 21 Casino seems to be in a transitional period, as the bonus terms and conditions don’t align with the current promotions page. Hopefully, they’ll do the housekeeping ASAP.
VIP and Loyalty Programs
At a glance, we couldn’t find any indication that 21 Casino had a VIP program. But after reaching out to customer support, we discovered that there seems to be an exclusive, invite-only program. The advice we were given to stand a chance at receiving an invite was to “…play regularly and keep your account in good standing.” So, play for fun, and if you’d rather be in the loop with ongoing promotions, check out our list of exclusive bonuses.
Banking & Payment Methods
With 21 depositing and 15 withdrawal methods, 21 Casino has got you covered. We must highlight, though, that they support a few unusual payment options that we don’t often see at online casinos, such as Pix and Western Union. But you’ll find the usual culprits, like Skrill, Visa, and PayPal, too. 21 Casino isn’t considered a crypto casino, so you may need to look elsewhere if that’s your preferred payment method.
UK players aren’t subject to withdrawal limits, but if you’re playing elsewhere, you can expect a €5,000 weekly cap.
Our casino rating system puts a 20% weighting on fast payout speeds, so we were disappointed to discover that withdrawals take a while to process. E-wallets are the fastest option, but you still may be waiting up to 48 hours for payments to process. Card payments take up to five days, while bank transfers are expected to take a miserable seven days. The silver lining is that they do process weekend withdrawals.
Still, as with any UKGC-licensed casino, you will need to submit verification documents before you are able to play any games or make your first deposit. These include the standard proof of ID, proof of address, and proof of payment method documents.

Responsible Gambling
In the dedicated ‘Responsible Gambling’ section linked from the footer of every page, players can access the following tools: self-exclusion, deposit limits, game time reminders and time out. The responsible gambling information and tools are first class, meeting the requirements of their strict regulator. During registration, players are invited to set deposit limits, encouraging good habits right from the start. There’s a clock visibly ticking upwards whenever you are logged in – an accurate reminder of how long your session has been running.
Assessing responsible gambling information is a fundamental cog in how we rate online casinos, so it’s good that 21 Casino bolsters its reputation by partnering with external organisations that focus on helping players who suffer from gambling-related harm. You may see the likes of GamCare, Gamblers Anonymous, GamBlock and Gamble Aware dotted around the site, so reach out to them if you feel your gambling is becoming a problem.
Customer Support at 21 Casino
21 Casino offers a great customer support facility, and the live chat platform is available 24/7. The live chat agents are friendly but a little vague on some issues (don’t try getting an answer on how many slots they have accessible in a particular territory). Still, they’ll help you with everything from showing you how to play certain online games to confirming your address, creating an account, and signing up from your phone.
We highly recommend using customer support at any time of day. If, for any reason, you can’t, then you can also reach the customer support team via email on [email protected] – although you may find yourself waiting up to 72 hours for a response, so always use live chat where possible.
21 Casino Experience and Features
21 Casino keeps things simple with its design choice, while still including a subtle regal twist. The performance is sleek, but there are slight delays in the load times of game logos when you first load up the site. Aside from this, 21 Casino is user-friendly, especially for beginners, with transparent terms and conditions and detailed information throughout. One of our favourite features is the filtering and categories in the games lobby, streamlining players’ search for games.
21 Casino does advertise a mobile app, but we are here to clear up the rumours. You will be able to download the 21 Casino app as a web browser extension, meaning it doesn’t exist as a dedicated app for iOS or Android. Players won’t find any mobile-exclusive features or games, but you will have access to all the same games, payment methods, and bonuses that are available on the desktop version.
Brand games
21 Casino Game Providers
21 Casino features over 130 game providers, ranging from the best-of-the-best to up-and-coming stars. Notable mentions include Play’n GO, Pragmatic Play, Red Tiger Gaming, Eyecon and NetEnt. There is a game provider filtering option, making it easy for players to see what games are featured in the games lobby.
21 Casino Slots
21 Casino slots comprise a haul of over 2,400 games, where players will spot some of the most popular games in the industry: Starburst, Book of Dead, Big Bass Bonanza, and Book of Ra. 21 Casino includes options for players to filter for megaways, cluster pays, mega symbols, and sticky wilds. This is a unique way of categorising games, as it’s not every day players will get to look for games based on their favourite mechanic.
If you’re uncertain about what game to play, you can click the random game generator in the hopes of stumbling across your next favourite spin.
Live Casino
It is clear that 21 Casino prioritises slots over other categories. Scrolling through the sparse live games section didn’t take long, but we observed examples from all the major categories: roulette, blackjack, dice games, baccarat and game shows. Along with Live Roulette and Live Blackjack, 21 Casino offers game shows such as Crazy Time and Dream Catcher – and these games offer some massive win-potential thanks to their unique casino bonus features.
About the 21 Casino Team and History
Our casino reviews always make a point to look at the history of a casino. 21 Casino was launched in 2015 and, in a little over 10 years, they’ve achieved quite a lot – rising to become a well-known and prominent name in the iGaming industry.
21 Casino is licensed in pretty decent jurisdictions. They currently hold gaming licences with the UK Gambling Commission (account number: 52894) and the Malta Gaming Authority (licence number: MGA/B2C/370/2017). These licences ensure 21 Casino is operating fairly, running truly random games and taking security seriously.
Complaints and Track Record
21 Casino survived the intense 60-day Baptism by Fire test and was awarded the Casinomeister accredited casino title, but this clearly didn’t mean much to them as they ended up losing it in March 2023.
Following new management, 21 Casino was found to be neglecting to respond to customer complaints, hence their demotion to the Grey Zone. It seems a shame to disregard all their hard work of gaining our accreditation, to lose it all to laziness, then.
After sifting through old complaints, we noticed that there didn’t seem to be many recent ones from players, which works as a good sign for them rebuilding their reputation. It must be noted that in 2021, White Hat Gaming was fined £1.3 million over AML and responsibility failures. They accepted responsibility, and the fine was paid, with the money going towards social issues.
